We had a great two night stay, everything was great. We enjoyed the sunsets and sitting on the patio at night. Lots of wildlife, birds, squirrels and lizards. Great proximity to Milagro Winery where we attended a wedding, I would recommend a visit to their tasting room and a tour of their grounds. Would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Wonderful place in an amazing location, especially if you just want to take some time out and unwind. There’s a couple of other properties nearby but its not overlooked and apart from the occasional car driving by or plane flying over, there are long periods of complete silence (or at night crickets chirping). We did bird watching, star gazing, reading, BBQs, hot tubbing, movie nights, card and board games and made sure to catch the sunrise and sunset every day. There's a quality supermarket about 8 miles away fully stocked with fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads , wine etc. and the clean and modern kitchen makes you want to prepare tasty home meals rather than eat out. We had a day trip to San Diego to visit family, and spent a morning walking around Julian, but otherwise didn’t feel like leaving the property at all! We had a couple of questions for Lara before travelling and she answered them promptly. We would definitely return and more than happy to recommend a staying here. David and Lou

This property is top of the line, and even better than advertised. The owners have spared no expense in making this a truly spectacular place for their guests, including a well-stocked kitchen, extra blankets, soft memory-foam mattress, etc. Kudos to the cleaning crew for presenting a spotless welcome. The peace and tranquility of the location and view of the vistas, not to mention the wildlife that visited, made for a very relaxing stay. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property with fantastic amenities. We played golf in San Diego by day and enjoyed some R&R at the house by night. Would definitely stay again to experience the wineries and outdoor activities in the area. Had a chance to venture to nearby Julian, CA on night one and enjoyed some delicious food and drink. Would absolutely recommend this experience, particularly for outdoor lovers and those looking to get away from the chaos of the city
