Secluded but easily accessible cabin with inside toilet and stand up loft. Queen bed up stairs and futon downstairs. Must be able to use ladder to access loft. Refrigerator and microwave plus inside composting toilet. Breakfast goodies are provided. Outside is covered seating, a barbeque and Star Wars fire pit!. This is an Alaskan dry cabin, water is provided and showers are available for multiple night users. MTA password. Talkeetnaburlcabin

Beautiful Alaskan Cabin

This cabin is even better in person than the pictures show. It was clean, cozy, quiet, and perfect. My dog and I had a great stay and hope to revisit next time we are in Talkeetna.

Perfect Cabin

This cabin was absolutely perfect. I loved the feel of the cabin. Curt greeted us upon arrival with his pup which was very nice. I highly recommend the cabin.

Great little cabin outside of Talkeetna

The cabin was exactly as seen in the pictures, a small little cabin with everything you need for a night away. I wasn't expecting the other cabins and the owners house to be so close, I was hoping for a little more space but otherwise everything was as expected. We enjoyed the cabin very much.

Wonderful host

Kurt was the best host that we had. He greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had all we needed. He gave us a piece of his freshly caught salmon, excellent advice on where to go, and was kind and curious throughout our stay. The cabin was comfy and fun to stay in.

Music concert venue

Charming cabin and very Alaskan! Curt met us and checked us in as well as a visit in the morning to see how everything went. He accommodated us so generously with our family and dogs. 10 minute drive to town, nice bike paths close by.

We love visiting Talkeetna area. This one bedroom dry cabin is set up well and includes simple breakfast. The main bed is up in a loft so make sure you can climb a ladder. The bed is ok, but we would have preferred more pillows. Also be ready to use a compost toilet. We would stay here again. It is an Alaskan dry cabin, so it's like camping but with the tent already set up. :-)

We are Alaskans and we were grateful that we stayed at this pet-friendly truly Alaskan cabin w/ amenities. The owner met and exceeded our expectations in the cabin’s cleanliness, accessibility and sustainability. Next time we know we need a station stop between Alaska’s largest communities, we will book again.

Great stay here and the host Curt was so welcoming and friendly. My husband and I enjoyed his stories and his cabins are very well kept and maintained. Everything was clean and we were glad to have the luxury of an indoor composting toilet. The upstairs loft bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were luxurious. There were also lots of fun goodies to eat and a refrigerator, microwave and k-cup coffee maker with coffee. We will stay here again.

Comfy cabin

It was easy to rent. Curt was helpful and available. The cabin was a simple dry cabin with indoor composting toilet that worked fine and didn’t smell. The bed in the loft was super comfy. Quiet neighborhood. Thanks!
