The Neighborhood: Waikiki Grand Hotel is right across street from small pier, ocean, and zoo. This end of Waikiki has the largest and best beach of the strip.
Kapiolani Park and Waikiki Aquarium are a few minutes walk, 5 minutes or less.
Getting Around: • Parking info. There is no parking included with this apartment. Building parking is $35 plus tax per day - call Waikiki Grand Hotel reserve a spot.
• You can park for free around Kapiolani park which is about a 5 minute walk. Parking is on the "Paki Street" side of the park and along Monsarrat St. Kapiolani Park has free metered parking from 6pm-10am daily and all-day on Sundays.
• Across the street, you can park at the zoo for only $1.5 an hour. This can be the cheapest option since you only pay for what you need.
• If you choose not to rent a car, there are multiple bus routes just steps away. Uber or Lyft also available. I recommend only renting a car on days you plan to go North Shore. Everything else is walking distance or easily accessible by bus which is one of the best systems in the US.

We absolutely loved our stay here! I’m hesitant to share a review because I want to be able to rent this unit in the future and I’m afraid it will be all booked up! This is an excellent budget friendly accommodation. The hotel is lovely and the proximity to the beach is second to none. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and the bed was super comfortable. The best part of our stay was the responsiveness of the owners. There was something missing from the kitchen that we needed and we told the owners about it and it was delivered that same evening. We have stayed in many VRBO units over the years and we have never had this kind of prompt response. We will definitely be back!
Unit and pool are a little more dated than shown in picture, but was still an awesome place to stay. Parking is 1.50 an hour right across the street at the Honolulu Zoo, but is hard to find parking spots from 10-3.Easy walk to shopping and being in the mix of Waikīkī.

nice time - good location - walk to beach - good bus connections - room adequate - good value.
We had an issue with our room on day one, but the Marbella team quickly resolved our issue by upgrading to a different hotel with a panaramlc view of the ocean and lowering our costs.
Excellent location, perfect size place for the 3 of us, clean and well maintained facility.
I highly recommend this property and location! Super close to everything on the Waikiki side of town. We would definitely return to stay here again! Aloha and Mahalo!

This was a perfect location. You can walk to the beach, local restaurants, and Waikiki shopping. The room was a nice size, comfortable bed and furniture. It was exactly what we were looking for. We paid for hotel parking and it was worth the expense to have a designated spot.
We only stayed here for 2 days but the property was as described and very clean.

Sand…it was everywhere. Bathroom…address the handle in the shower as it’s loose. To adjust from cold to hot was a hassle. If a child was using the shower they could scald themselves. I’d recommend changing the slip resistant in shower bathe mat, it smells like mold. A note about the possible flipping of a breaker with more than one appliance on at a time and if it happens just go to front desk for help. Aside from those recommendations, it served it purpose. Perfect place, close to the beach, transit and shopping/restaurants. Every thing you need is in the apartment. Very spacious. Kitchen is a plus. Pool on site is nice. Building is clean, safe and quiet.
The bed is huge and comfortable. The two sleeper couches were nice to have for Grandkids naps.
. The one star rating is due to the “rules” posted by a property management group which included excessive fines for chipped or broken dish/ glassware, any make up left on a towel would result in a large fee! Due to those threats of use on items at best were thrift store purchases we did not use any of their things! There was one bed and no additional bedding to use for sleeping on the sofa. the key pad to enter had no illuminating light so impossible to see the numbers until the first number was selected which often was the wrong guess, the restrictions using the AC unit which did not turn on once in 6 days, t property management has requirements to send a photo ID to complete reservation which I refused. Even after speaking to them they sent me the demand 4 more times which caused me high stress thinking I may not be given the key code along arrival.
We loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants. Tour buses and the bus system made it possible to explore the island without having to rent a car. The tenth floor deck was also our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening wind down. Thanks for hosting us!
Overall great place to stay. For this trip specifically, I had made the booking with the understanding that there was an oven in the unit. Unfortunately there is not an oven, there is a toaster oven. The place was clean, and had everything else needed for a very relaxing trip. The beachfront is not far, and there is plenty to do within walking distance.

It’s a perfectly located unit by the beach that offers convenience and great views of the beach. Great stay other than a couple of minor details.
It looks like there are ongoing issues with roaches. We found a couple during the week. Bathroom light and sink could have been cleaned more thoroughly for our stay.
This was one of the worst accomodations I have ever stayed at. The listing does not accurately depictate the actual condo. The condo was incrediby dirty and run down. The bedskirt was stained and had dirt and hair all over it, there was roach traps in with the silverware, the bathroom was by far the worst. Mold everywhere, water damage everwhere, hair and dirt and grime through out. Shower curtain and liner moldy and filthy. Worst part of all a molded bath mat hiding the chipped and chipping ceramic bath tub. You have to wear shoes in the shower to prevent getting shards or cut on the bottom of your feet. You have to empty the drain cstch after each shower to dump the bath tub ships so the shower drains. Then when reported to owners their cleaners came back out to clean the mold as good as they could but just placed a flat sheet over the top of the bed skirt to hide the dirt and hair. I had to ask for new shower curtain and bath mat twice before it was dropped off on day 2. I have never felt so dirty. Then the lock on the door stopped working. Overall terrible and hosts thought 50 off was justification.. no where near it. After fighting it out their final offer was only 183 off or pretty much 1 night. Which still isnt fair. Had we been able to afford somewhere else to go we would have left. This was a bait and switch location and needs to be avoided.
I felt safe being by myself in the area, even after dark. Parking in the zoo parking lot, right across the road, was only 1.50 per hour, which is the cheapest you’ll find. You are notified via text message about 15 minutes before the time expires and then you can add up to an additional 960 minutes.The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable. The only issue I had was that there were cockroaches. I understand that in many warm environments this is an issue. The owner quickly responded to my concerns.I kept everything I brought and bought in the refrigerator.
