About this property

Our beautifully remodeled 1 bed room unit with a split ACs is located in the Pacific Monarch with a balcony and awesome ocean views! It's only a few steps away from the famous Waikiki Beach, shopping, and restaurants. The unit has a full kitchen with all kitchen essentials. We provide a welcome starter kit for each guest including shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, bar soap, body lotion, towels, coffee and tea, sugar and cream, and some Hawaiian treats. 2 beach chairs, 2 beach towels, 2 body boards, tennis rackets & balls, etc are also provided. The maximum occupancy is 4 people, but all depends of the age and size of each guest as the unit offers only 2 beds (1 queen size bed in the bedroom and 1 full size sofa bed in the living room). A group of 2-3 adults or 2 adults with 2 small children would most comfortably be able to stay. We also provide a mattress topper for the sofa bed for your comfort (stored in the bedroom closet with a clean sheet on it).

Building amenities include a swimming pool, hot tub, sundeck, picnic and BBQ area on the rooftop with 360 degree of beautiful views. Coin operated laundry is located on the 3rd floor (quarters can be purchased at the front desk).

The unit is recently renovated. It's bright & clean. You will enjoy awesome ocean views:)

Fantastic view and central location

The apartment is very well set up with pool toys, beach chairs, kitchen things etc. We really enjoyed the view of the ocean and the kids loved the rooftop pool. Check in was easy and communication was great.

Nice beach condo

Recently stayed 2 nights in Mayus condo in Pacific Monarch. Was a great stay. Condo was clean bright and had everything you needed. Older complex but apartment is modern enough. Nice little welcome pack on table. The view to the ocean was spectacular. Nice big windows overlooking ocean. Corner apartment. The location to the beach and Waikiki is great. Easy walking everywhere and easy to catch TheBus. Mayu was friendly to deal with quick response. Unfortunately I broke a lamp but Mayu was pleasant and understanding and I sorted the incidental cost. The Pacific Monarch had rooftop pool spa sauna bbq area. The front desk staff are very friendly. Was a great stay. Definitely recommend to stay here Mahalo

Perfect Condo Rental

Wonderful stay! Mayu, the property manager, was incredibly helpful. She provided us with parking information, recommended some excellent restaurants, and promptly addressed all our inquiries. The rooms were clean, and the condo came fully equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, and floaties, making our trips to the nearby beach even more enjoyable. The location was fantastic, with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The only hiccup we encountered was with the person at the front desk, who unfortunately wasn't very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again if I visit Oahu in the future. Thank you!

Brilliant view

I'll start with the cons because they are so few: - The bathroom is a bit small - The listing did not say that it came with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, floaties etc (which really is a huge pro). Had it did, i wouldn't have rented those in advance. Pros: - The view is killer for the price! Has a panoramic view of the Waikiki beach and binoculars are provided so you can look at whales or surfers. - The room was very clean, and as i mentioned above, it has beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, floaties etc which is a huge plus! Saves one from a lot of rental hassle and cost. - The building has a pool and hot tub. We didnt end up using it but a nice to have. - the location is amazing, on Kuhio street and 2 mins walk to Waikiki beach and all stores and restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again if i visit Oahu again provided the price remains reasonable, which i really hope it does.

Aloha Friends and welcome to my vacation rental unit. My name is Mayu, and I’m the host of this unit. A little bit about myself just so you would feel comfortable by knowing who I am and would feel much more welcomed.
I’m originally from Japan and have lived in Hawaii for about 17 years. My husband Allen and I have a few restaurants in Waikiki. We have a 6 year-old daughter Myla and enjoy going to the beaches and swimming in the pool as a family.
Believe it or not, my first vacation when I was still in Japan was 20 years ago here in Hawaii, and my friends and I stayed at Pacific Monarch! We loved how we could walk to the Waikiki Beach, soak in the jacuzzi on the rooftop after hours of surfing, and were able to grab food easily. Pacific Monarch is not the newest building; but I know it has been well kept and managed for a long time. As a host of one of the many units here, I’m committed to maintaining my unit clean, bright, and easy to stay for my guests. I am very blessed to be able to share all it has to offer with you and truly hope you will have a fun and relaxing time while you are in this Aloha State!
