Cascading Waters sits overlooking the ELLIJAY RIVER, just 90 steps down to some of the most beautiful rapids on the river. Sliding Rock Cabins' full log, single level, ADULT ONLY cabin is exquisitely decorated and offers all the creature comforts you would expect for a getaway in the mountains. Enjoy a picnic by the river, tube to your cabin, take a nice leisurely soak in the hot tub or just rock the day away on the porch overlooking the water. You'll be sure to see why it's called Cascading Waters. Dog Friendly (2 DOG MAX) with no pet fees.

This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25). PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. very nice cabin. We're old and the 90 steps to the river and back up were challenging, but doable. The sound of the river and cascading waters were delightful. Internet worked great. directions were very good, and we enjoyed the stay very much! Road to the cabin were a little dicey, but very doable. Loved the experience.

There were 92 steps so the very young and old may find it challenging. Beautiful views, enjoyed the hot tub, coffee on the porch, cute shops and some nice restaurants.

A cozy paradise tucked away but not too far from downtown Ellijay. The hot tub was hot and clean. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. The chairs by the river were bliss. Such a lovely weekend away. Definitely hope to be back!

We will rent from here on out when we want to get away to the North Georgia mountains. The view was amazing with the river sounds in the background. The town is quaint, easily accessible and very friendly. If you want to venture out from Ellijay, we highly recommend Blue Ridge. We took the scenic railway and it was amazing. The rental agency is top-notch and as I said these cabins are on repeat for any future stays.

The cabin was spotless and well maintained. The back porch was the star with a beautiful view of the river below. Stairs were a lot for someone older, but worth it to sit by the river. The road there was dicey but doable. Parking is narrow and right by the road. Still a beautiful place to retreat to for some rest and relaxation.

Road condition was a little bumpy in places but overall good considering rainy weekend.Only condiments provided were salt & pepper (no other spices) and days worth of coffee (no sugar or cream). Bathroom provided with soap but no shampoo. Bring all that you need!

Cabin was exactly as described and made for an amazing weekend for myself, my husband and our two dogs. Loved being able to hear the river from the cabin/deck and sitting by the fire pit down below. We will be back!

Nice cabin type home. Grill, hot tub and the big back porch was very nice. Be in very good physical condition, or pack everything you need for the creek before you walk down those stairs lol. The scenery is well worth the walk down though.

Creek-bluff cabin

Wonderful little cabin overlooking the Elijay River. Several cabins nearby and one in view, but not intrusive and still felt secluded. Dog yard is small but adequate. Higher energy pups would appreciate a stroll down the road or to the creek and back. The Elijay River was a perfect temperature and flow for summer relaxation. I would definitely book again.

Amazing Getaway!!

The ONLY drawback was the long sstaircase from the house to the river, but overall it was worth it- definitely recommend!!
