This cosey loft is located centrally in a quiet spot in the old Moorish town of Tarifa. At walking distance from the beaches, the port and popular surf spots. Surrounded by small restaurants and bars, the local fish market, little shops, just 50m from the old town entrance, it is the perfect spot to explore Tarifa, its beaches and beautiful Andalucia, or to relax after a beach or surf day, or if you have just arrived from or going to Morocco.
The apartment is located on the first floor and you have to walk up steep steps to arrive.

Beautiful Apartment

Everything matched the pictures and the stay was lovely. Be prepared for some rather steep stairs but they were manageable. I was happy we had backpacks.

This place is a hidden jewel in middle of old town. Narrow corridor and staircase leading to second floor to a Charming place with well equipped kitchen and small gadgets which make life easier. I am taking about surfaces to place things or hang coat or bag or sitting area in the right place. Small but quite place.Full of sun and privacy. Small balcony .Marissa host very quick with responding to messages and helpful .easy to find keys as well as check in and out process. I would definitely recommend and come back.

The location and apartment are great. Certainly not a large place but quite comfortable. Just a note to all: In the description there is a second terrace patio downstairs towards the back that is for use by “poniente “. We didn’t realize till we were leaving. A nice space that would have been great to use had we known

Méfiez-vous des amateurs

Certes, bien placé, mais plusieurs bémols importants. Le plus essentiel de mon point de vue : absence totale de communication avec le propriétaire, pas de numéro de téléphone au cas où... tout a intérêt à bien se dérouler. Documentation et consignes envoyées quelques jours avant seulement, nous empêchant d'imprimer. Attention à ne pas choisir l'appartement du bas, très sombre. Celui du haut suppose de bons genous vu la pente des marches y permettant l'accès, information non contenue dans l'annonce. Inadmissible absence de porte aux toilettes. Bref, vous trouverez mieux ailleurs, forcément.

Lovely little appartment in the charming old town part of Tarifa. Surrounded by little shops,bars and restaurants and very close to the main street and beach . Very clean and comfortable ,having everything we needed .We stayed for 12 nights and were impressed that the towels and bedding were changed every 4 days .Communication with the owner was smooth and she responded very quickly to any query etc . Lovely little private patio ,perfect for eating and sitting in the sun ! It is worth noting that the steps leading up to the appartment are very steep,so would not be suitable for the elderly,disabled or very young children but there is also a ground floor appartment,which would probably be ideal . We have visited Tarifa 3 times now and this was the best accomodation for our budget - We would definitely stay again .

Prima verblijf op toplocatie in Tarifa!

Samengevat was het klein maar fijn. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Je kunt fijn buiten op terrasje ontbijten. Locatie is echt top. Enig minpuntje was het smalle en beweeglijke bed en de gehorigheid. De buren konden we namelijk goed horen.

Cosy small retreat in the centre of Tarifa with cool bars and good restaurants nearby. As long as one has in mind that the flat is rather small (as it is described in the ad) one will be happy there.

Reizvolles kleines Appartment in Tarifa

Die Lage ist absolut top, mitten im Herzen der Altstadt. Man geht aus der Tür und hat gleich alles in der Nähe. Von kleinen Cafés über Tapas Bars, Restaurants usw. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es Abends ruhig, da sich die Wohnung in einem Hinterhof befindet. Das Appartment selbst fand ich sehr sympathisch und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Küchenzeile ist neuwertig und gut ausgestattet. Auf dem Balkon kann man abends den Tag ausklingen lassen. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Marisa war einwandfrei. Angefangen von der Buchung über das einchecken bis zur Abreise, alles super.

Ich übertreibe nicht, wenn ich sage das ich alles so vorgefunden habe wie es beschrieben ist.Ein kleines feines schnuckeliges und picobello sauberes Appartement. Ausreichend für zwei Personen, die Tarifa und Umgebung kennen und lieben lernen wollen. Die Vermieterin eine sehr nette und fürsorgliche Person, die immer erreichbar ist und unterstützt sowie gute Tipps gibt. . Immer wieder gerne....

A piece of heaven in Tarifa

We absolutely LOVED Marissa’s little flat in the old town of Tarifa. It was authentic and quaint with a lovely little balcony. The only suggestion I would make is that there needs to be an area to put your luggage. We had good weather so we could leave our bags (they were small) on the couch and enjoyed sitting on the lovely patio. If the weather was poor I’m not sure where you’d sit inside if you’re bags were on the couch. Also the staircase up to the flat is short, only 7 steps, but it’s really steep. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have any mobility issues. All that being said, if you are able-bodied and have only small luggage you should stay here!

This little apartment is minimalist but lovely. It is a clean and aesthetically pleasing one-bedroom with a lovely sun-filled balcony. Though nestled inside the walls of the liveliest part of the old city, it is remarkably quiet. We checked ourselves in without difficulty. Communication with Marisa was smooth.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist genial. Sie liegt etwas zurückversetzt in einer Gasse in der Altstadt von Tarifa. Es ist trotzdem sehr ruhig dort. Sie ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben die Wohnung auch sehr sauber vorgefunden. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und es wurde prompt reagiert als es Probleme mit dem Strom gab. Gerne wieder.

Kuschelige Unterkunft für Kurztrip

Es hat uns sehr gut in der kleinen aber feinen Wohnung gefallen. Alles, was man brauchte, war da und auch die Abwicklung vor dem Urlaub war sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür!!! EDer Weg ins Apartment gestaltete sich dann mit dem schweren Koffer als etwas schwieriger, da die Treppe sehr steil und gewandelt war. Aber ansonsten war alles top und wir werden bestimmt noch einmal nach Tarifa kommen.

Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Tarifa. Für 2 Personen ist es völlig ausreichend. Es ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr geholfen haben uns die vielen Infos über das Umfeld, Lokalitäten etc., die wir im Vorfeld von unserer Vermieterin erhalten haben. Ein wirklich rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Great spot for two people. Bed was comfy, location could not be better for walking around Tarifa. Great vegetarian place next door. Quiet at night. Owner was fast to respond to any questions we had, would stay again for sure. Note that parking in Tarifa is difficult at the best of times. You may have to walk a bit with your luggage to get here, and bring it up some small steps.

Tarifa overlooks Morocco and the African continent.

The villages and cities of Andalucia with its rich cultural history are amazing to visit.

The sea and countryside are perfect for enjoying nature and doing sports.

What makes this property unique

Apartment Poniente is a cute one-bedroom loft. It is decorated with a touch of Moroccan.

It is located very centrally in the old town but is quiet at the same time as you have to walk through a passageway of twenty meters before you arrive at the patio of the apartment.

It is surrounded by bougainville and jasmine flowers and other green plants, even in summer.
