The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
• Place kitchen linens, pillowcases and bath foot towels in washing machine and begin quick cycle. • Make sure trash bins are properly secured to house with rope provided.
• Thoroughly clean grill, if used. • If bed was not used, please leave as is. • Close all windows (including sunroom).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Monthly renters must cancel or make changes to reservation one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check in to receive a refund.
Cleaning fee applies to rentals 7 days or less. Rentals 8+ nights *could* incur an additional cleaning fee if deemed necessary by cleaning team.

Sugaree is an adorable very clean cottage. The proximity to the beach was amazing. We LOVED our time on the porch. Tyler is very responsive and a great host. We would stay here again and highly recommend.

First time at the beach with our girls. House had plenty of room.for the 5 of us, nice view of sunrise over the ocean and sunset aboe the sound from the upper deck. The girls made quick friends with the dolls and stuffed animals in the house. We were on the beach in 2 minutes from the front door, within walking distance down the beach to the fishing pier and short drive to all amenities, but able to stay secluded out of the traffic.

Family Vacation

We had 6 adults and 2 children for our stay and we fit comfortably! The kitchen was well stocked. Great views of the ocean from the upper deck! The beach was a minute walk from the cottage. Tyler was great at communicating with information that we would need. We would definitely stay at Sugaree again!

Excellent property, great location

The location of the property couldn't be better--it's literally steps away from the beach. Also, the neighborhood is really quiet--almost no noise from the traffic. The property is very well maintained and managed.

Thanksgiving at Sugaree

We had a great time at Sugaree in Nags Head, easy process and great communication with host. We enjoyed relaxing, beach time and exploring in the less busy season there.

Great spot for grandparents and grand children

Sugaree was really thoughtfully stocked for multi-generations. The upstairs area for kids was perfect, the layout on the main floor worked very well. The kitchen is well stocked and the proximity to the beach was perfect. And the hot tub was a winner for the adults.

Awesome vacation!!!

This was our first time in the Outer Banks and it did not disappoint! The house was perfect for our family, very clean and exactly as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would definitely stay there again! Tyler was very helpful and quick to respond to any question.

Very clean with easy check in.

Property was very clean and the check in process was easy. Tyler communicates very well with those that rent the property from him. House is about a two minute walk from the beach and is also close to pea island.

We highly recommend Sugaree!

My husband and I, our kids (18, 16, & 15), and a friend loved our week in South Nags Heads! We were thinking about our next stay at Sugaree before we had even left. The house had all that we needed and more and we loved the location. Tyler communicated well--we can't wait to visit again!!!

Perfect amount of solitude

This was my second time staying here and it was as great as the first time. The location has a decent amount of solitude (able to hear frogs at night and see stars), but close enough to civilization and the beach to not feel isolated. The host is great in communication and the property is clean with everything you might want on the kitchen to cook a meal. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Perfect Relaxation spot

A great home for a family with kids/teens to spend a week's vacation in South Nags Head. Clean, open, and bright with a quick walk to the beach; includes a look out deck which was perfect for sunrises or catching a glimpse of the ocean. Front porch was fun to watch a storm roll in off the mainland as well, while playing family games.

Another Great Stay

Our second stay at Sugaree was another great experience. The house is clean and cozy -- a great home base for adventures at the beach just a few steps away or elsewhere in the OBX but also a great place to stay in at night or when the weather isn't cooperating. We all had a great night's sleep on comfy beds (love that linens are included!) and nice soaks in the hot tub. And the views from the decks and sunroom are fantastic. We're looking forward to our next stay already!

relaxed comfy property. great beachy feel let everyone chill and bond over the thanksgiving holiday.love the view from the top deck and being a couple rows back from the beach did offer a bit of a wind break. excellent property!

Great location and property

Had a great time even with a tropical storm hitting while we were there. Super convenient access to the beach. There is a lifeguard station right at the beach access point so that's a bonus for piece of mind especially if you have kids. The beach never gets crowded. The house was just the right size for our family of 5, it was clean and exactly as described. Good communication with the owner, Tyler. Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, and great location

My wife, my parents, our two small children, and myself really enjoyed our stay at Sugaree! It is literally a few houses from the beach and has close proximity to shops and restaurants. It was also a short drive to the aquarium that the kids loved. The house was very clean and came with all the bed linens which was a big plus for us. We did have an issue with the air conditioning which Tyler was quick to get the property manager on and was resolved quickly. The crows nest has an amazing view out over the ocean which made for some beautiful mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay at Sugaree in the future!

Shake it shake it @sugaree

Rented this little gem 7/27/19-8/3/19.. the house is adorable, spotless, has a fully stocked kitchen and is practically on the beach. The hot tub was so great to have as well. The owner Tyler is fantastic to work with and got back to me in record time with my questions. We were there with our 4 kids, 20, 18,16 and 11 and we had plenty of room. The beach on this street is big and beautiful and there’s a lifeguard stationed there, which is a definite bonus as the lifeguard stands seem few and far between that far south in Nags Head. So happy we decided on this house, it was really hard to leave, but hope to be back.

The Goode Times House Lives Up to Its Name!

The Pros of this property: 1. Location-nice quiet neighborhood steps from the uncrowded beach yet a short drive to shopping, restaurants, etc. 2. Amenities-the house is comfortable and has everything you need for your beach vacation: fully equipped kitchen with working appliances, tons of dishes and cookware, plenty of dining/living space, tv with satellite in every bed room, wi-fi, hot tub, gas grill, beach toys, parking, crow's nest with ocean/beach view (and a great place to watch the sun rise), outdoor shower, washer and dryer, upstairs loft area with books and dvds, and great working air conditioning. 3. Owner-Mr. Goode is responsive to questions regarding the property and has provided information about the area in the house. The Cons of this property: 1. We could only stay a week!

Fantastic Stay At Cozy House Steps Away From The Beach

My family and I stayed at this property in late March to get away for a long weekend. The house is fantastic, all the overwhelmingly positive reviews are totally on point. The house was perfect for us — me, my husband, mother-in-law, and nearly three-year — plenty of cozy lounging space, comfortable beds, very clean, great views and had unique features ideal for a beach vacation. A few highlights for others considering renting this property: — The house is a very short walk (~100 meters) to a beach access point. The beach is wide, clean, and provides for plenty of privacy and space for children to run around safely. — The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly, with nice and welcoming neighbors. — The house is well stocked with everything you’d need. The kids toys, both indoor and beach toys, were especially helpful for us, as we have a very energetic toddler! She especially loved the sandy area under the house. — The property is very conveniently located to both Nags Head and Roanoke Island allowing for daily activities and going out for food in between beach time. — The owner was super friendly, communicative, and responsive to our questions. He also has great local recommendations! We loved all the the places we tried on his list! We had a fantastic time and are already planning our next trip down!
