I was in Honolulu for a work project and this place was perfect. Really enjoyed my stay here. It's a great location in the hills overlooking the city. My only complaint would be that it was a little difficult dealing with the property manager. I had to do an extension on my stay and she made it way more complicated than it needed to be. But overall, very positive experience!
We were in Honolulu on a short term contract for my work. We hoped to find a location that was close to the city and public transportation but offered some outdoor space and quiet. This was the place! We stayed in Apt C on the compound. Wonderful location for walking after work and for my husband to go biking during the day ( it is on a hill- this is just a warning!). In less than 10 minutes we can be a Waikiki Beach or hiking in Pu'u U'laka State Park. I was able to catch The BUS (Honolulu public transportation) literally at the end of the driveway. We loved having our own outside porch as well as our shared grilling area which overlooks the city because why come to Hawaii to be always indoors?. The apartment was the right amount of room that we needed with a living room-galley kitchen , one bedroom and upstairs loft. I think the owner "undersold" the kitchen area; I love to cook and was a bit concerned from the description - I was wrong. The kitchen was well appointed with a hot plate, slow cooker, hot griddle AND an outdoor grill! The refrigerator was new. I should not have worried at all! The one day the wifi went off- the property manager had it fixed within minutes of the call. It was a quiet restful place to come home to each evening. We definitely look forward to returning to this oasis.
This is the second time we have stayed at the apartment for a three month work assignment in Honolulu. We love the location- 10 minute drive into the city and Waikiki Beach, bus stop at the end of the drive to go to work, excellent ( hilly) area to walk and run. The owner is responsive to any needs. We stay in the mid size apartment ( one bedroom with loft) and lovely outdoor porch area. The grilling porch which serves the three apartments has a lovely view over the city harbor. This has served our needs perfectly. We plan to return next winter when I will be working there again and hope it is available. It is great to have access to the city without the noise and bustle of the tourist area.
A great little property about the hills in honolulu with views to the punchbowl and downtown - which is only about 10 mins drive. The communication and check in proceedure was great and the facilities were perfect. It's a great location in an affluent and quiet neighbourhood. The surroundings are lovely and there are some great hilly running routes around the house. Good access to the highway. No bars or shops within a short walking distance, but because of that you don't get any noise or disturbances. The property is very secure with a keypad entry gate and keypad entry to each cottage.
