mold smell

unit was beautifully appointed and well equipped but rugs and furniture smelled. Apparently , there was a water line break last year 2024 causing unit to flood. Rugs were never replaced and smelled of mildew & mold. We needed to leave the windows & doors open to cope with the smell.In addition, the air conditioning unit was on the fritz and we had to call property manager. She did a fine job of helping rectify the issue. Furniture needed to be sprayed with Lysol Fabric deodorizer since it smelled of oily hair and there was a board underneath cushions to keep them up.

Hello Madam and Mr, your allegations regarding our apartment are surprising because you visited it at length before renting it and you were delighted. However, you demanded an additional sports pack as well as a DVR box in order to watch your programs in Replay! which you received. In addition, you specify that our apartment smells of mold, an odor due to water damage, which is false because the carpet is cleaned before renting!!! that our sofa gives off odors of greasy hair which is impossible since I wash the cushion covers before the 3-month rental!!! You are truly incredible. However, you forget to specify that I found my towels full of discolorations due to the use of bleach, moreover these towels stank of bleach. I also want to specify that you wanted to re-rent the apartment for 2026 but to do it through Vrbo to avoid the fees which we refused. If this apartment had bad smells, why are you asking us for 2026? Curious, no. I didn't want to give an opinion on you because we remain respectful, but frankly, we find your feedback inappropriate.
