This rental is located on the Fort Morgan, Alabama peninsula at the Gulf Shores Plantation. This ground floor condo features a full kitchen with plenty of seating for dining with the whole family! Once you walk out onto the furnished balcony, you may decide to take a few steps more to the boardwalk to relax on the beach for the afternoon. The Gulf Shores Plantation also offers six shared pools just steps away, a dry sauna, basketball court, tennis court, and shuffleboard!

Gulf Shores Plantation is tucked just a little over 12 miles down Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Kiva Dunes Golf Course is located at the entrance to the condos. If you are getting hungry and looking for a taste of what the locals eat, grab a bite at Sassy Bass located on-site near the Dunes building. You are also only a short drive back into town where you'll find mini golf, shopping, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, and much more!

Very comfortable Condo

This property was perfect for our needs. We had tennis, golf, beach, and food all nearby. The downside was the lack of sheets/bedding for the pullout couch. One out of four towels was dirty, but this was fixed quickly. We never got a fitted sheet for the couch mattress. Since there is a rule for not hanging towels over the railing, they could easily add some outdoor hooks. We had a really good time.

Nice condo by the beach

We stayed here for just one night and really enjoyed our stay. The condo was spotless and very comfortable. There is an ample amount of dishes and kitchenware and the beach gear is very appreciated. A guide to the premises in the room, some kitchen essentials like oil, salt etc. as well as the possibility to park the car on the premises before/after checkin/checkout would be great for short stays like ours. The location right on the beach and the pools were lovely.

Nice updated rooms. Very spacious, and lots of storage. 3 comfortable deck chairs. Comfortable beds (very soft). No Keurig, or crockpot, but that's just personal preference. Bring extra bath and dish towels. Love staying at the Plantation. This was our 5th visit.

Pleasant weekend trip

We really enjoyed our long weekend trip. This was our first time to this property. I enjoyed the slower pace than Gulf Shores but still a quick trip into town for dinner. Only two minor items for feedback. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and the coffee maker is on the low end and the curtains don’t block the outside parking lot lights very well. Otherwise a really nice property. Updated and clean.

Stay was great! Nice private, not far to go get essentials! Needed bigger bed for master room! Twin beds not comfortable either! Sleeping was not good! Everything else was great!

Needs updating!

Needs updating bad. Electrical outlets are wore out. Need to stock more essentials, can opener, oven mits, balcony door, need dishwasher safe plates, also had gnats and ants as well. We love staying on plantation east, but everything is getting really run down. Main pool closes at dark every night too. Might be our last time at east. This was our third time.

Great location for the beach!

We loved that this unit was a very close walk to the pool and on the beach! We also loved that the unit had a nice big tent for the beach we could use and a beach wagon! We would definitely stay here again. We got to go at Sassy Bass which was pretty good! We also went to the Village Creamery for delicious ice cream!! They also have food trucks open for dinner time and an entire area for the kiddos. Thanks again for a great get away!

We had a wonderful stay at Plantation East #3126

The bottom floor was very accommodating and easy to access. The beach was a short walk away with swimming pools very close by. The condo had everything we needed including everything you need for the beach. Which saved us from having to go out and buy beach items that we didn’t need to return home with. We had hot water and comfortable beds. If you like to grill there is one located right by our room. The area is perfect if you like more of a less crowded family oriented experience. We toured Ft. Morgan and took the ferry ride to Dauphin Island. We didn’t have to drive far to get there and is truly something worth doing. My 12 year old son and 13 year old niece loved it, as well as my Mother! Made great memories on this little Mother’s Day get-away! 😊
