Less than 1–2-minute walk to the beach, this custom 3 story, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, SLEEPS 8-10 (8 in beds, 2 in sleeper-sofa).
Just steps from the sand and sea our 3/bdrm 2/bthrm home SLEEPS 8 in beds, plus 2 in sleeper sofa for a total of 10. The kitchen is very well stocked and equipped for convenient meal preparation. A well-equipped garage comes with all the toys & essentials you’d need for the beach.

Perfect location for CA getaway.

We had a great stay in and around Oxnard and this home was perfect for us. The neighborhood was really cool with the gorgeous Silver Strand Beach only steps away. We would definitely stay here should we pass this way again.

Perfect family trip!

We picked this house for the location and the beach toys that are included, and it did not disappoint at all!! We loved our stay and couldn’t believe how lovely the beach is and how secluded it felt with just a few other families anywhere close on the beach. The lifeguards were an unexpected plus as well. We would absolutely plan a repeat of this trip!

Great Location to Beach

Great location within walking distance to Silver Strand Beach. Great bonus to have access to wet suits, bikes and everything you would need at the beach. House was a great set up for our family.

Great beach house

I liked that there was super clear and professional communication with the owners. Easy walking distance to the beach. The only consideration is that there are only two bathrooms. If you have the max number of guests, 10 people, be prepared to share two sinks/mirrors/showers between the 10 of you. Otherwise a perfect beach house. I would definitely visit again in the summer to enjoy all the beach toys they have!

Awesome place!!!

We really enjoyed staying at this beach house. It’s very clean and nicely decorated. The location is a short walk to the beach. The collection of beach toys in the garage is amazing— our kids were never bored. We had a great time and would love to come back!

Great Experience

The stay in Oxnard was great. House was well kept and had amenities that allowed us to play in the ocean despite it being February weather. Communication from the owners was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Our Favorite Get Away Place

We love this beach house for our family! It is fully stocked with everything you need and more including bikes, boogie boards, surfboards, kayaks, wetsuits and beach gear including chairs and beach umbrellas. It is just a walk down the street to the beach and it's a lovely community. It is our home away from home :-)

Girls Weekend

Fantastic! Great location close to a beautiful beach, lovely quiet neighborhood, large house with multiple decks perfect for a larger group, lots of beach activity equipment, place is as advertised. Debbie was a pleasure to work with, very accessible/easy to reach, and quickly answered questions via text. We had a great weekend, will definitely be back.

Great Beach Vacation

Perfect stay for our large family (8 adults)! Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to a beautiful beach - never crowded, friendly community, incredible sunsets. The “toys” (bikes, surfboards, kayaks, boogie boards, etc) were such a plus. Debbie has thought of everything (towels, chairs, umbrellas, and more) and a notebook full of suggestions and instructions to make it easy and enjoyable. The bedrooms and extra lower apartment fit our family really well! Thank you for a terrific family vacation after 18 months of COVID separation.

First Time

We haven't had a vacation in years and being on a budget thought why not look into renting a house. Best discussion we made, what you see here is what you get nothing is hidden. Debbie responded very quickly and very helpful everything from her emails to the paperwork she sends you was easy to understand. The town is very quiet and friendly and the miles of beaches was perfect. Lots to do in this area the only regret we had was not making are stay longer. Thank you Debbie for making our first Homeaway from Home a pleasant experience

Great Spot!

The beach house is in a perfect location. The garage is loaded with plenty of toys for you to enjoy for the week. The beach is just beautiful within walking distance and clean and quiet. The owners were quick and organized with their communication. The house is stacked with plenty of beds and kitchen utensils and pretty much anything you can think of that you may need. My only complaint is that the carpet was not as clean as I would like. The rest of the house was good. I may take my family again next summer. Wonderful week.

Great beach weekend

We had a great beach weekend here with three families with young kids. Debbie and Keith were very responsive, both in the planning (responding quickly to emails, letting us know they had a Pack N Play at the house for a baby) and during the stay (we needed to shut off the heat, and they called back quickly to tell us how). The house was well stocked, condiment/spice type things in the kitchen, a good amount of cookware and dishes, shampoo under the sink in the bathroom, a cot in one closet that we used for one of the kids. The living room was comfortable for relaxing, nice open plan for dining table, kitchen counter, and living room. SUPER close to the beach--just walk one block and you're there.

Oxnard stay

We had a nice time at the condo. The furniture is a little worn. Kitchen table is rickety for playing games and the couch is uncomfortable. Great location to the beach. Access is right down the street. The garage is full of beach activities!! Kitchen is stocked with supplies! The condo is right next to a Airforce base that is abandoned. Not really an issue just didn’t expect. Neighbors seemed friendly enough. We were there when some dolphins were washed up on the beach. So sad! Watched the seals swimming in the area which was fun!!

Summer 2022 Vacation

Overall stay was great and property was clean. Home equipped with all bikes , kitchen supplies, towels etc. Proximity to beach was within walking distance. The only downside- as a family of six with a toddler the pressures of remaining quiet was stressful. I would say it's almost impossible to meet the quiet expectations in the house and neighborhood with a large family. We initially booked the guest house for the week and changed to the weekend because some of our party left. Per the listing, we were under the impression that the " guest house" would be vacant unless rented by us. Two days prior to check in, we were informed that the owners adult son would be staying the week. While it is named a guest house, it is attached and can be easily accessed through the main house. While there was no incidents, it was very uncomfortable given the several doors that the adult son could've accessed into my children's bedroom area. In the book provided to guests in the home states there is a permanent renter, which is not listed on the site and the information was known to the owner ahead if time. We had no time to change our mind in staying in property and when advised of the circumstance, our booking was already non refundable. I would say the lack of tranparancy outweighed all the positive aspects of the property . However, we made the best of our stay and explored some landmarks nearby.

The stay was wonderful. So many toys to take to the beach and tons of bikes too!! Lots of toys. It was great being so close to the beach. The house was really spacious and had everything we needed and was close to everything. The host was very prompt with all the information and even let us check in early when the house was ready. Thank you Debra our family had a nice reunion.
The cousins were sad to leave, saying goodbye on the front porch.

Having lived and worked in other beach communities, the small town feel and sense of community is second to none here in the Silver Strand Beach of Oxnard. Having the home as a vacation rental allows me and my family to still enjoy this wonderful beach along with being able to share it with others.
