The Crown Jewel of VRBOs
As Glacier is the Crown Jewel of the National Parks, Our Rental was the Crown Jewel of VRBOs. The house was charming and well equipped. The beds and sofas were very comfortable! We wanted to stay longer as we did not have enough time to enjoy the yard and back porch! Marty was very responsive to all our questions... we look forward to returning soon as this rental far exceeded our expectations........
East Glacier Stay
We stayed at this property for two nights in mid September. The property is as advertised, which is clean and comfortable, and close to local restaurants. Communication was very easy with property manager, and within 20 minutes of Two Medicine area of Glacier National Park. Property was well stocked with kitchen items, including basic essentials for food prep, etc. we were not able to take advantage of the outside decks due to poor weather. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to explore the Two Medicine area of Glacier National Park.
Cabin was perfect, weather was great and Glacier Mountain area awesome!
Colleen was very pleasant to rent from and available for any questions or concerns that I had. She went out of her way in answering our needs.
Marty( grounds manager) was also helpfull with directions of area and cabin instructions.
The cabin was very well equipped, cozy and clean. Very quiet surroundings and close enough to eating areas and entertainment.
I highly recommend this cabin if interested in visiting the area.
We LOVED our stay here. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great (even for a 6-1 person) and the kitchen has just about everything you could need, including basics like oil/spices/etc.
East Glacier, the town the property is in, is verrrrrry small so make sure to load up on food/groceries before coming out. There is a general store but it's a bit pricey/not many options. Think like you're shopping at a larger gas station - that's what the general store is like.
We ate at a couple restaurants in town - you might be better off cooking an easy dinner for yourself.
Marty - the property manager - was great and gave us some good advice! Marty gave us advice on where to hike and even hooked us up w/ the some hiking poles.
Two Medicine, one of the major parts of the park, is only about 20 minutes down the road. Many Glacier, another major part of the park, is about 1.5-hour drive.
Also - the property had 3 cans of bear spray ($50 if you buy in the park) so check at the property to see if there are any before you buy your own.
We would HIGHLY recommend this property. What a great stay!
Best place to stay at Glacier Natl Park
Colleen's place is immaculate and welcoming. It has the most amazing heated tile floor. Beds are super comfortable and it is close to everything.
East Glacier Vacation Cottage
We loved this quaint cottage! The property and the cottage were both extremely well maintained. We had everything we would need. Plenty of sleeping options, a full kitchen, a grill and a fantastic back deck to eat outside on. There were hammocks and bikes available to us if we wanted to use them. Marty, the property manager was a wealth of information. He was a super, nice guy and he was instantly responsive when we had a question. We asked where we could find a store for some items for our upcoming hike in Glacier and he showed up with everything that we would have needed so we didn't need to go shopping! The cottage is a very short distance to the Two Medicine entrance of Glacier National Park. It's a little bit of a drive to get to Many Glacier, but having such a great place to return to made the drive worth it. We especailly liked that we had the cottage to ourselves. The main house (which is also a rental option) was next door and Marty lives above the garage, which is also separate from the cottage. We would highly recommend this property for anyone. We did not bring the kids on this trip, but it would have been a great place for kids since there was a master bedroom on the forst floor and 2 beds in the loft with tvs and plenty of games!
