This was by far the most home like atmosphere of anywhere we have stayed before. May not be important to some people (usually I would say myself). But after a long day hiking and exploring Glacier this was a welcoming place to come back to and rest for the next days adventure. Thanks for the great decorating and home feel. Loved all the pictures of Glacier on the walls!

Home was very clean and well appointed, I think the property is slightly better than the listing makes it look even! Communication was excellent, I appreciated that the host went above and beyond to share local recommendations, which we took and enjoyed. Location was great in terms of proximity to Two Medicine, and even St Mary and Many Glacier. I took a few stars off of the neighborhood ranking. It was nice to be close to the lodge, however we envisioned being able to walk there, and to local businesses, but in reality found we were not comfortable walking around. Many businesses were closed, or appeared closed, and there were many dogs running around without supervision. However, the purpose of our trip was to experience Glacier and have family time at home in the evenings and both were well accomplished by this property so I would still recommend.

Perfect proximity

This property is located well relative to East Glacier. Interior well laid out. Very thoughtful hosts. Had everything we needed. Including the deer in the headlights game! We’d stay again. Good restaurants within walking distance, others at a close drive. Very clean.

Great trip

The property was close to the Two Medicine and Mamy Glacier entrances to Glacier. The home is very clean and very well stocked in every room. The electrically outlets were very convenient. The TV was huge and my husband loved that. There was plenty of hot water. Over all I would say that the home was great. My only concern was the price. It seemed quite pricy for a mobile / prefab home. It was impressive inside but the neighborhood and exterior was not as nice. I would stay here again but the price was a bit high.

Perfect Spot for East Glacier

It was not the easiest task to find somewhere to stay on the east side of Glacier National Park since there are no chain motels and very few options that aren’t homes for rent. You never know what you are going to get, so we were pleasantly surprised. The decor in the house was cute & reflective of the area & the amenities were perfect. Not only that, everything was labeled with instructions and there were tons of personal touches, right down to small toiletries left in the master bath for customer use. Tons of kitchen supplies, DVDs, food recommendations, & WiFi were available. The washer and dryer were wonderful to have after several days of being on vacation. The only thing is I was a little leery driving up to the house since I was unfamiliar with the area and I can be a little over-the-top worrying about safety. It took me a day or so to realize the nature of places like this is different because there can be a very nice home right by a home that can look a little sketchy. East Glacier Park certainly isn’t a nice touristy town like the ones on the west side of the park, but I soon realized it is definitely the nicest area to stay on the east side of the park. I eventually felt safe enough to sleep with the windows open (Montana homes apparently don’t have central air conditioning…I guess that makes sense but never thought of that!) and felt comfortable with my kids in the two bedrooms across the house. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the east side!

This home is in such a great location. Some of the reviews about the neighborhood almost kept me from booking it- but I'm so glad we stayed here! The home is very well stocked. There are so many nice touches. The appliances worked great, good kitchen supplies and I forgot to find out what kind of bed the king mattress is! Its so good I want to buy one. Don't hesitate for a second renting this home. You'll have a great stay here.

Glacier visit

This property was one of the best we have ever stayed through VRBO. I chose this home because of convenience, but the overall rating of the property and reviews were the other factor in comparing other places in the vicinity. This is really such a special home with lots and lots of attention to detail in furnishings and amenities for guests. We were constantly commenting on how nice everything was and even thought about something that would make the home more enjoyable or maybe anything they could improve, but could not come up with one single thing. The location is really perfect and so great to get out and walk to a restaurant or a shop or even the Lodge. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and would stay again.

Great home and location in East Glacier

Wonderful home near all East Glacier activities and entrances. Owners have provided many nice amenities. We wanted for nothing. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, plenty of kitchenware. Owners provided a lot of small niceties like sugar, sweetner, tea, paper towels etc. Would definitely stay there again.

Great East side home away from home

This property is cozy, clean, and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and easy for cooking in. Owner answered all my questions and made it all easy! East Glacier is TEEENY, so don't expect to find many restaurants nearby. There is a train track a couple blocks away, but the trains run mostly during the day. You can hear them, but they are not disturbing. Ideal position for two medicine, st. mary's, and Many glacier entrances.

I am originally from the other corner of the country, Sweet Home Alabama. Like most, the mountains brought me here in the wild summer days of my college years (with special credit to my dear parents who took me as a child). In the 20 years since, I've never spent a summer elsewhere. Hiking the peaceful valleys and climbing Glacier's challenging peaks became a passion.. maybe a slight obsession.

A wise man once said that once you've spent enough time in the mountains, the only way to experience the same passion and energy of your past years among the peaks is to share Glacier with others. That bit of advice rings truer with each passing summer. So that's what I love to do.

I love meeting the variety of people that come here every year. I love helping others plan itineraries, plan trail hiking/peak bagging routes, navigate the winding roads around Glacier, find that perfect place to camp, or that once in a life time wildlife encounter, that perfect fishing hole, or landscape to behold in the perfect light, or house to rent, or place to eat, ... all of it and more.. that's what I love to do now. That makes vacation rentals the ideal pursuit as far as I'm concerned. If you give me the chance, whether it be in text or a face to face conversation, you'll find I can be a bit long winded, but only because I want everyone that comes here to experience at least a fraction of the serenity and love for life that Glacier and the surrounding area has provided to me. Ask me any and all the questions you need to. It makes my day to share any part of this place with others and it's my favorite part of this job, which keeps me motivated for the parts I enjoy less!

Why they chose this property

I'm a simple person and I just wanted to be able to see the Rocky Mountains (especially Glacier's Eastern Front) right out of my living room window.

What makes this property unique

This home is different because it's designed to not only be a home, but a home that enhances, encourages, and teaches all things Glacier. People come here for Glacier Park. I came here for the park as well. What would I want after all those many long day trips and backpacking excursions when I got back home? That's what I asked myself as we designed Glacier Corner. It's the comfortable refuge from long days exploring Glacier Park that I could only dream of in my younger years running around these hills.
