The Crows Nest was perfect for for our family of four. Communication was easy and the home was unique, comfortable, and clean.the location was quiet, beautiful, and convenient.
I really liked our stay here. It was much nicer that going to a hotel in Taunton. I loved all of the pictures and stories about the house.

Your patience with our project, I can't express how much I appreciated that. Reach out if you think about coming back so I discount your next stay. You guys were fantastic!
The accommodations were great. They rental was clean and quiet. It was conveniently located for all our needs in a nice neighborhood. This was the second year in a row we’ve stay here. We had a wonderful time!
During our stay I had a fall and fractured my leg. Our host Craig was extremely helpful and was able to help us transition from the second to the first floor apartment. Craig could not have been a better host. He was always responsive whenever I needed to contact him. He was thoughtful and kind. Looking forward to our stay here again next year.
We stayed here for a recent vacation to Newport and the Cape Cod area. The property was ideally located between those two areas making for great little day trip throughout our stay.
The space itself was very clean and well maintained. Check in and check out instructions were easy and well described. Would definitely recommend this property to others.
Great spot, well tended, thoughtfully appointed, comfortable beds and soft pillows, easy check in, quiet, right on the water but close to Fall River. Perfect.
Everything is good, enjoyed our stay. Very clean, well equipped with all the things you would expect in a home. Great work! Loved the Lord of the Rings Risk game!!!!
We had a great stay in a beautiful, comfortable property. The description could have been a little more complete in that the stairs up to the second floor were very steep. Also, the laundry facilities are in the basement.
This is our second time staying at this property and we have enjoyed our stay each time . It is “as advertised “.
Craig is a good host and is readily available for any questions.
Would not hesitate to stay again.
This property has been refurbished with a labour of love it's easy to see. A glance through the album of photos tells the same story. We really enjoyed our stay especially when we walked the streets and saw similar properties in this quiet but convenient location. A small issue with cutlery was quickly sorted although I would recommend an upgrade in the cutlery and pots and pans department.
I would recommend that anyone with mobility issues should not book upstairs as the staircase is challenging as well as the one into the washing room. However that's easily solved by booking the ground floor apartment which I believe is identical in layout.
The whole experience is one to remember.
Well done Craig and Claudia.
Our stay at the Issac Pierce House was perfect. The apartment is clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to the family we were visiting. We went for nice walks in the evening. We slept well and were refreshed each morning. We plan to stay again!
We loved the charm of this 1700's house. It had the "old" feel, but was bright, airy, comfortable, and well-stocked. The mattress in our bedroom was extremely easy on the back! Our walks at the nearby park and trails were wonderful, as was traipsing down main street to see the old homes. Some of the stately houses were apparently owned by sea captains long ago and even had widow walks at the top! The view from the sunny front windows looked out at the river and seabirds. This was truly a wonderfu experience!
We really enjoyed staying at this property. Nice water views and very quiet. The furnishings are comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. If we had any questions Craig was happy to answer. We will definitely stay at the property again.

About the host
Hosted by Craig Sowersby
I was lucky enough to purchase this wonderful piece of property and fully rehabbed myself with the help of some pretty competent professionals. My family of 5 live in the townhouse style rear unit. I love being outside, and this neighborhood is fantastic for that. A walk down historic main street, or head the other way and walk through the Bluffs. Can't say enough about how comforting it is down here and how rich in history.
Why they chose this property
This property is rich in town, local, and worldwide history. This house has left its mark in many historical books. Nothing flashy, but significant just the same. Its a very unique property in a very unique town and I am happy to share it.
What makes this property unique
We went out and got real furniture for this apartment. We got the more expensive mattresses and pillows and so far people are constantly telling us how comfortable our beds are! Comfortable sectional couch with a flatscreen TV and cable. Our internet speeds are amazing. Off street parking and private access to the space along with the wonderful views.
