We thought the house was great.It had two very comfortable big beds and two small ones. The location was nice by the park and the citadel. I would highly recommend staying there . We went on the haunted carriage ride at night and loved it. There also was plenty of restraunts and bars around.

Southern Comfort

Very clean, well appointed, quiet. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was very convenient to the historic district but a bit tired but safe! We recommend this VRBO and would stay there again!!

This was a perfect rental for our short time in Charleston, and the owners provided some of the best communication of any property I’ve stayed at. The property is conveniently located just outside the historic area in a charming residential neighborhood. If you plan to sightsee in the historic district, I would advise keeping your car at the home and using a ride-share service, since parking is limited and expensive in the historic district. There is also a public transportation stop not far from the home. The Citadel is right next door, and it was a memorable experience to be able to see the facility up close and personal. Finally, my daughters (and okay, me too!) were thrilled to discover Tannyhill Plantation was just a few blocks away (if you know, you know, LOL).

The house was just as advertised, clean and neat. We enjoyed watching the students at The Citadel during football practice and also the morning exercises. All in all it was a very enjoyable vacation. Charleston was great too.

Great Getaway

This property is exactly as described. Adorably decorated, extremely clean, and conveniently located. There were also thoughtful additional amenities and a responsive host. And, the space is a lot roomier than photos show. Nice job!! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for such a pleasant stay.

Citadel Home Near Charleston Downtown

Great place that is nicely furnished with good amenities. Major issue fridge did not work and had to ice and cooler while there. Home owner apologized but no compensation. I am sure they will get the fridge fixed so would stay here again.

Mother’s Day Visit

My sister and I came into town for Mother’s Day and to help our mother with specific tasks she is no longer able to do on her own. The house was very clean and nicely appointed. I love the Hampton Park area. It might want to be noted that the water in the master bath is reversed, in that the hot is to the right and the cold is to the left. I am mentioning this so people don’t continually run the water waiting for it to heat up.☺️The washer and dryer are brand new. Also, the kitchen was amply supplied. The front balcony is a nice place to sit and relax. I only wish I had had more time to enjoy the accommodations. I was hoping to use the bicycles, but simply did not have the time! I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Charleston Getaway

Me and my group of 5 absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. About 15 minutes from the main Charleston shops/restaurants, but still a few walkable places. Thank you Lauren!!

Perfect in Charleston

The 4 of us enjoyed the property very much. We thought the location was perfect and enjoyed the view of the Citadel field and the events held there. That was an unexpected plus. we found the neighborhood and park perfect and peaceful. We UBER'd downtown to the restaurants. Our host was accomidating and very helpful. We hope to return to house in future.
