Welcome to Casa Kokopelli! The perfect Sedona experience begins with the Red Rock formations, in an inconspicuous, yet accessible setting. Our house overlooks Boynton Canyon, one of the largest and most impressive landscapes Mother Nature ever created. There's a reason hot-air balloons frequent this area! And while the downstairs gourmet kitchen and living area immerse you in this natural wonder, the unimpeded views from the upstairs master bedroom balcony will take your breath away. There may be no better place to enjoy your morning coffee than this spot, which includes a no-muss, no-fuss gas kiva fireplace to ward off the chill of daybreak. Memories start right here!

If you can peel yourself away from this spectacle, you’ll find that all of the fun available in West Sedona is only a mile or two away. The neighborhood is located a couple of blocks off of the main drag, so it’s easy to get to all of the restaurants, shops, and activities Sedona has to offer. Yes, your one-acre vacation oasis provides both breathing room AND convenience!

With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, we can easily accommodate up to six fun-seekers in complete style and comfort. So get your group together, make your reservation today, and get ready for the perfect Sedona experience!

For the health and safety of all guests, we implement wellness practices recommended by VRBO/HomeAway. These include contactless self check-in, extensive use of disinfectants, post-stay whole-home ventilation, and 24-hour minimum "blocks" between bookings.

The home features four outdoor security cameras:
1) The front entrance door camera shows the front door walkway areas.
2) The backyard pool area camera shows the entrance gate, pergola, pool, hot tub, and outdoor shower areas.
3) The side yard patio area camera shows the sliding glass door walkway area.
4) The upstairs picture window camera allows us to enjoy balcony views of Sedona, but also shows a very small portion of the front yard area.
All cameras are turned off during guest occupancy. Guests are welcome to cover any camera to enhance their privacy. Additional details are available in the home’s User Manual.

If you are questioning this home do not! It is perfect! Very clean and secluded location even though we were still in town. The pool was amazing for the heat of the day! Enough room for us and our two grown children with their spouse and boyfriend. Waking up to the views was absolutely amazing! The one downfall was the sun shining into the master bed upstairs from the upper hallway windows at 6am but the view was definitely worth it! Hope to stay here again!

We believe this review is extremely harsh. We were not made aware of or given a chance to explain or cure the grill and camera complaints prior to receiving this review. Refrigerator Failed: Sadly, this did indeed happen a few days into the rental period. The refrigerator was only seven years old, was in like-new condition, and we had no forewarning of any kind. We arranged to have a new replacement delivered to the home that same afternoon, and we issued a $200 refund to the guest for the food spoilage. Barbeque Grill: Sedona is located in a desert high-fire-danger area that is often subjected to strict burn restrictions. For safety and other practical reasons, we decided to permanently disable the open-flame grill that sits covered in our backyard kitchen countertop. In its place, we provide a Kenyon G2 electric grill. This fact is disclosed in our home’s User Manual, which we make available in digital and printed forms to all guests. To avoid any future confusion or disappointment, we have removed the “Grill” item from our home’s list of amenities. Security Cameras: Here again, all cameras are disclosed to all guests via our Arrival Letter and via our home’s User Manual. All cameras are turned off at all times during guest occupancy, and all may be covered and/or unplugged if the guest chooses. Before receiving this review, we were not aware of VRBO’s Surveillance Device Policy. We have since taken steps to enhance our compliance. Dagan & Kim Heaps

Wonderful accommodation! Everything was as described online and the hosts were incredibly helpful and thorough. The home was clean and fully stocked, we loved the pool and outdoor area, the views are unmatched, the location is convenient but also out of the downtown craziness and overall feel of the home is relaxing and enjoyable. Only thing to note is the master upstairs is a loft and no option for blackout shades/darkness for sleeping in any of the rooms so bring an eye mask or window cover for children if needed. We'll be back!

Amazing home in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and so comfortable. We were only 10 minutes away from major trailheads — After each amazing hike, we enjoyed time in the hot tub and got to watch the sunset. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to emails.

Our names are Kim and Dagan Heaps, and we live full-time in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kim is retired from State Farm Insurance, and Dagan owns a small business named Impressions in Stone.

We began searching for our retirement home in 2017. At first, we thought seaside living would be just the ticket. But the weather in most of the affordable coastal areas is lousy! When we learned that Arizona has some of the best weather in the nation, we decided to see for ourselves.

​When we got to Sedona in 2018, we were hooked. The locals call it “Red Rock Fever”, and if you’ve never been here, be careful—you may just catch it yourself! The setting is beyond description, the high-desert climate varies from great to perfect year-round, and the people are simply wonderful. A common refrain is, “I came to Sedona to be a better person.”

We looked at hundreds of properties in the Sedona/Oak Creek area before choosing this one. It ticked all of our boxes, and we are very fortunate to call it ours. We look forward to the day when we can make it our full-time residence. Until then, we hope that you will come to love the house and the area as much as we do!
