Old house completely restored winemaker with taste and its adjoining cellar, near to the sea. In the center of the village of La Noue, close to all local shops and market daily, enjoy the Ile de Re and its wild coast.

Beautiful, clean with lovely host family

The property was beautiful. Both doubles with en suite and twin bunk room that actually slept 5 worked really well for us. Parking possible around the back for free as opposed to the main road out front which was chargeable. Property owners live next door and share the courtyard space which is idyllic. Plenty of room with a large table, parasol, patio heater, BBQ and outside lighting. Despite being a communal space the family are warm and welcoming and respect your privacy. There is a real feeling of a family home here, not just a house (as in the advert)!! House has everything u need, large tv, wii fii, American fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer etc etc and very fluffy bath towels! We only stayed a week which was not long enough, maybe we will return again when we have more time.

De nombreux problèmes, dommage pour un logement prometteur

Maison correcte mais truffée de problèmes : fuites d’eau dans les deux douches (dont une sans eau chaude), fenêtres cassées, mobilier vétuste (chaises et table cassées). Les propriétaires, bien que disponibles, se sont montrés infantilisants avec ordres et leçons de morale dignes de Super Nanny. Au départ, acharnement injustifié : reproche de ménage malgré 300 de frais déjà payés (qui ne couvrent que « vitres et draps ») - même à Bora j’avais pas vu de tel prix - sans matériel fourni, et une tentative d’escroquerie à hauteur de 1500 pour masquer les réels défauts du logement. Nous reconnaissons seulement notre erreur dans la gestion des poubelles. Enfin, des attaques personnelles déplacées (« qui n’iront pas loin dans la vie »).

Un séjour magique !!!

Le chai est magnifiquement restauré et l'emplacement au cœur du petit village de Sainte Marie de Ré est parfait. La plage, les restaurants, le marché, le fromager ( délicieux !) les cafés, la boulangerie, tout est à quelques minutes à pied. Mais la cerise sur ce succulent gâteau, c'est la gentillesse des propriétaires, Segolene et Régis qui nous ont accueilli comme si nous étions de la famille et nous ont donné tous leurs bons plans de l'île. Ils nous ont même fait découvrir les huîtres au BBQ, un délice!!! Du coup, on n'a tous qu'une hâte, y retourner au plus vite !!!!

Vacances idéales en famille

Notre arrivée a été facilitée par les propriétaires qui sont sur place et avec qui la communication a été simple. Nous avons très agréablement été accueilli. L'état d'esprit famille que nous recherchions était au rendez-vous : équipements (lit bébé, chaise haute), et surtout la bienveillance des propriétaires, leurs conseils pour apprécier notre séjour sur l'île de ré, les plages, les bons commerçants, garer nos vélos, garer notre voiture à proximité ou trouver un babysitting. Nous recherchions du calme, des nuits silencieuses et la proximité de la place des tilleuls de La Noue et sommes satisfaits sur tous ces points. Les prestations de la location correspondent au descriptif. Nous recommandons cette maison de village pour toutes ces raisons.

Spacious house with private courtyard close to delightful Ste Marie market restaurants shops

This is a well equipped house in an intimate side street in the nicest part of Ste Marie a 5 minutes walk from the daily market and restaurants, 15 minute walk from beach. This will give older kids freedom to explore. The house has a large light living room / kitchen and small outside courtyard both with tables seating 8-10 for family meals. The two main bedrooms have nicely appointed en-suite bathrooms - the room with 4 bunks shares one of the en-suites. Some of the fittings need a little maintenance but this house will give you a great base for exploring the beautiful Il de Re or just relaxing in Sta Marie. Regis and Agoline were most welcoming hosts.

Super week-end de Pâques en famille.

Le chai est tel que présenté dans l’annonce. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nous qui cuisinons, la cuisine est particulièrement bien équipée. L’ile est superbe, la balade en vélo dans les marais est époustouflante. Nous serons heureux d’y revenir.

Maison très agréable, idéalement située et propriétaires charmants.

Découvrir chic et soignėe

3 jours passės dans ce gîte rėcent : dėco chic et soignėe, les propriėtaires sont accueillants et de bon conseil ( ils nous ont même trouvė une babysitteur à la dernière minute pour que nous puissions tester le restau 'les tilleuls' ). Le village de Ste Marie est très agréable.
