Located in lovely Linville Land Harbor, our PARfect View Cottage has all the conveniences of home! We are conveniently located 9 miles to the closest ski resort, Sugar Mountain!

Our recently renovated, multi-level cottage is spacious and airy! Our kitchen has granite counter tops and all the amenities you need to cook and bake at your home-away-from-home. Enjoy dinner at or dining room table while overlooking the golf course! The upper level has a living room with a 55" smart TV, a master bedroom with a king-size bed and full bath (shower only) and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. An additional bathroom on the upper level has a bathtub. Families will love our second living room/game room on the lower level. Play games, ping pong and darts in our sports-themed game area or have a movie night in our comfy area with fun lighting. The lower level has one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bath (shower only). The lower level also has a couch that can be configured for a queen-size bed. Additional blankets and pillows are available as well as each bedroom has additional linens for your convenience. An air mattress can be found in the closet upstairs if you need additional sleeping space.

This cottage is the PARfect getaway for family and friends wanting a long weekend of skiing, hiking, fishing or golfing! Perhaps even a week of adventures, sightseeing and shopping in Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. You may even desire a month or two in our cottage to enjoy all the High Country has to offer! Whatever your timeframe and desire, our cottage is the PARfect place for you! You will love sitting on the back deck watching golfers finish their round of golf on the 18th hole. Enjoy the convenient access to The Patio, a place to grab a bite to eat right across the street from the cottage.

Regardless if you come for a weekend, week or even a month, our peaceful escape is waiting for you to fill the cottage with laughter, fun, and memories made by all! Absolutely love this place!

From start to finish, this home has been one of our favorite places we’ve booked. The hosts are wonderful and communicate above and beyond. I would recommend just from my dealings with them! The home is very cozy, but plenty of room to spread out. Very clean and has everything you will need for your stay. The location and neighborhood are the best for getting to the slopes and attractions. Even when the weather was bad, this is an easy home to get to. There is plenty of parking in front and back. We loved explaining the trails and the river in the neighborhood. Will absolutely be staying here again! Thanks Jennifer for sharing your home!

The Perfect Place for us!

Communication was wonderful. The property was just like it is listed in VRBO. It was very easy to find and to get into the house. The house had everything we wanted, and we stayed for 28 days. We were very comfortable and had a hard time leaving. My husband said, "it was well appointed". There were plenty of towels, dishes, and pots & pans. The view of the 18th hole is right there. This place is our place to go to when we are in this area. We are going to rent it out again. Thank you very much for letting us share your wonderful Parfect View.

My husband, my 22-year-old daughter, my 17-year-old son and I currently live in Oklahoma City but I was born and raised just an hour away from Newland in Rutherfordton, NC. My husband and I both served over 20 years in the Air Force and retired a few years ago. He is an associate pastor at our home church as well as the School Liaison Officer for military families moving to Oklahoma. I am working as the Director of Business at my son’s school. We love this area and plan to retire in Newland in a few years.

Why they chose this property

My parents have a home in Linville Land Harbor so we have been going on vacation the area for the last few years and enjoy the High Country so much! My son plans to attend Appalachian State University after graduation so we decided to look for a vacation home in that area. We immediately fell in love with this property just by the pictures online. As soon as the house was on the market we knew we had to act fast so two days later, we were flying to North Carolina in hopes to find our dream vacation home! Pictures couldn't do this property justice! The views are absolutely amazing! While we were working on a few updates, I had a potential renter stop by and inform me that we may have the best view in Linville Land Harbor! WOW! Our cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy all the benefits of our little resort area.

What makes this property unique

We love the peaceful surroundings sitting on the back porch while watching golfers finish their round of golf and listening the birds chirp is a great way to start or finish your day! We also love the fact that we were able to transform the lower level into a game/movie area for the entire family to enjoy.
