The TLC has all the modern conveniences of your home, fully equipped kitchen, large flat screened HDTV, and Wi-Fi. The chalet also provides gorgeous porches for enjoying the outdoors or relaxing after a long day exploring. To further that outdoor experience, a swimming pool and hiking trails are located within walking distance. Once you leave the chalet the activities are endless. A few area attractions are Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, The Blowing Rock and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. There are also great shopping destinations and restaurants in every corner of the surrounding area. If you are looking for a quick bite be sure to visit Christa's Country Corner for her famous Smoked Chicken sandwich and carrot cake. For dinner, Puerto Nuevo in Banner Elk. Best Mexican restaurant in the area. There is something for everyone. You can never see it or do it all in one trip. Bring the whole family including your furry friends! Hope you enjoy!

A place to return to.

Very quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and along the lake. Host was very responsive to our needs. This was our third stay at this property and we look forward to a return trip.

Great place!

It was very convenient to Boone and Banner Elk. The house was cozy but had enough space for all of us to not be on top of each other. The host told us everything we needed to know ahead of time, so we had no surprises.

Fantastic Thanksgiving Weekend Getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed adorable cottage. We have stayed at several other homes in Land Harbor but this was by far the loveliest. We had plenty of space and loved how easy this cottage was to access. We always travel with our four legged family members and they loved being able to go for walks around the lake and running loose at the dog park. The beds were comfortable and we found everything we needed. Highly recommend stopping in at the Peddlin Pig for lunch or dinner. We can’t wait to come back. Go App!!

Summertime at 4,000 feet elevation gives wonderful mountain breezes and the exquisite profusion of white and pink rhododendron. Autumn brings the fall colors to the Blue Ridge mountains and winter brings the pristine quiet snow and skiing/snowboarding at Sugar or Beech Mountain close by.
