Retreat into the high woodlands of Western North Carolina at this lovely mountain home, beautifully secluded yet close to a host of nearby activities. This blissfully quiet spot is a place for admiring spectacular sunsets, spotting local wildlife, and enjoying the area's ski slopes, mountain trails, and charming towns.

This cozy, single-story home boasts an incredibly private location, tucked into a clearing of trees with views of the surrounding ridgelines. You'll feel like you've truly escaped - yet you're also just a short, scenic drive from the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster (one mile), Banner Elk's shops and restaurants (two miles), the slopes of Sugar Mountain (two miles) and Beech Mountain (seven miles), and Grandfather Mountain State Park (nine miles).

Begin each morning outside on the deck, the perfect spot to sit down with a cup of coffee and a mountain view and watch for deer emerging from the woods. A bay window frames the same beautiful view in the living room, so you can feel free to relax by the fireplace, set up a board game, or find a favorite movie to stream on the 4K smart TV.

It's a joy to prepare family dinners in the eat-in kitchen, with two walls of windows filling the space with light. In the evenings, catch up on email via the high-speed WiFi, leave the day's clothes to spin in the washer/dryer, and retire to three bedrooms - one of which is a primary suite with a 4K smart TV and a jetted tub in its en suite bathroom.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
