This is a beautiful, well-maintained historic home in a neat part of town -- walking distance to lots of attractions. The hospitality was off the charts. Every detail was thought out. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, and wonderful spaces (dining room, living room, porch) to hang out in!

All was good except for the strange fact of 3 rentals at the same place and the older couple in the backyard was a little off putting.

I am sorry for the surprised of a shared backyard space. It is clearly stated multiple times on our listing that it is a duplex that has shared backyard space. And yes, one of the neighbors is a quiet older couple. This is located in a densely populated downtown area. As per the message sent immediately after booking …if you misunderstood the nature of the space, you were welcome to cancel for a full refund. My offer was declined. I am sorry it wasn’t as expected.

Moving our daughter in to the dorm at SEMO for yr 2. Been coming to this location since our trip here during her senior year of HS when she visited SEMO to audition for the musical theatre program. It is a great place to stay when you have more than 2 people.

A Beautiful Retreat for Three Generations

Three generations found rest,beauty,& joy at Serenity South. Thoughtful touches,beautiful gardens and Cape charm made this more than a stay-it became a treasured memory. We were so appreciative of the details, the fresh flowers, homemade cookies, the coffeemaker upstairs and the books and games. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed this historical home and our stay.

Perfect home for college visit
