The VEW COTTAGE is a gorgeous, totally remodeled 2 bedrooms (Queen Beds), 1 bath cottage just remodeled into an Open Living/Dining/Kitchen area that entertains you with its lovely view of Eagle Harbor and boats at the yacht club, Public Dock and Ferry Maintenance Yard to the East.

The VIEW COTTAGE has access to the waterfront to relax and enjoy the Harbor and wildlife comings and goings. Also, the VIEW COTTAGE has a small private patio between the parking area and the Cottage to relax and BBQ.

The VIEW COTTAGE location is perfectly located and is only a leisurely 10 minute walk from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Dock, 1 block to Winslow Way and its restaurants, pubs, tasting rooms, shops, and upscale Town and Country Grocery. You are steps away from the Waterfront park, Rowing Center, children's playground and walking trails along Eagle Harbor.

If you come by car, there are 2 parking spots. Otherwise, use public transportation to arrive and explore the island (Seattle Ferry, Kitsap County Transit). Or taxis (Lyft, Uber, Taxis and Tour, Suquamish Casino bus) are available to explore the island (i.e., Fort Ward Park, Linwood Center (aka Pleasant Beach), Bloedel Reserve, and the Japanese Exclusion Center. Also, it is easy to get to the Suquamish Clearwater Casino or Poulsbo.

Have a hankering to Kayak or Bike? We have four (4) kayaks and (4) ladies' bikes plus paddles, life vests and helmets to use while exploring the harbor on the kayaks or rides around town and/or the island. Our stay at the cottage was excellent! We didn’t want to leave! The view out the windows to the harbor is so beautiful. We loved just taking in the view with our delicious food and drinks the host provided. It’s also such a short walk to the ferry, restaurants, and shops. It was a perfect trip except for the fact we couldn’t stay longer !

Mini getaway

This little cottage was beautiful and clean. The host is very responsive and helpful - she made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. The location is awesome and within walking distance to the ferry, restaurants and stores. I would highly recommend staying here!

If VRBO and Four Seasons had a cottage...

What an absolute delight of a property! In addition to Bainbridge Island being a gem with its beautiful scenery, darling shops, top-notch choices for restaurants, friendliness everywhere, loads of gorgeous places to explore... this place is the icing on the cake. It is so nicely decorated with updated amenities. The attention to detail is everywhere! The furnishings are so comfortable in the kitchen has everything that you could need. It's spotlessly clean. And the owner welcomes you as if you were a longtime friend. Most definitely the best host experience I've ever had. I will definitely come back. The location is perfect!

Great honeymoon cottage on the ocean!

We had an amazing time here! The hosts were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They go the extra mile to make sure the house is comfortable and has great amenities. We enjoyed kayaking right out of the property. Quick walk to Winslow way. Very charming and updated cottage!!!

Perfect Location - Amazingly Stocked

Spent a quick get-away stay here. Host was fabulous at instructions and with the many goodies and staples provided. Unit is well-stocked for any kind of cooking and is very comfortable. Perfect location for a quick jaunt to several restaurants and grocery. Didn't use any of the included kayaks or bikes as we brought our own. Would return.

Beautiful cozy place!

I wish we had more time to hang in this beautifully detailed and cozy place we had just enough time to sleep and make a snack (with tasty treats left for us) and chat around making the puzzle. So many thoughtful adds....so much so we're definitely coming back! And Deb went out of her way AND above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and accommodate a lost pillow.

Perfect getaway!

My daughter and I spent 4 days at this cozy cottage to celebrate her 40th birthday. The cottage is an easy walk from the ferry terminal, so no car was needed. The location is ideal for shopping and dining. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the harbor. Deb and her husband were so welcoming, and left us English muffins, butter, jam, eggs, half and half, chocolate, and even a birthday cake for my daughter! They also gave us good suggestions on dining and getting around.

Exceptional experience

Beautiful and very comfortable. Our every need was met, and then some! If I could give this 10 stars I would. I was impressed by the detail the host has thought of and provided to ensure a lovely stay. A well stocked kitchen; beds, bedding and pillows were comfy; nice bathroom and shower. Lovely fireplace for cozy evenings and we really enjoyed having Alexa for great music. The property is well maintained and peacefully landscaped. Location is perfect; beautiful views, easy walk to restaurants and shops, great nearby market and minutes from the ferry. The hosts are very available, personable and responsive. Would love to make this an annual trip.

Exemplary Service

This is the most beautiful and comfortable cottage right near the waterfront. The owners provide all of the extras you would find in a five star resort. However, we were unable to stay due to a family emergency. The owner went above and beyond to help us. They even mailed (at their own expense) a raincoat that was left behind. That piece of mind helped us focus solely on the emergency and getting to the hospital. There is no doubt, we will be back to enjoy this wonderful cottage again.

Cute cottage but limited view

The cottage was cute with comfortable couches and beds. The bottle of wine and snacks were a welcome touch. The location was close to the shops and restaurants in Winslow and the public dock/pier. Communication with the owner was good. Something for future guests to consider: The "View" Cottage is located behind the house and next to the road on the shared "waterfront property". It is not on the waterfront. The actual view is a side/partial view of the water/dock in the distance, with the other windows facing the house, another cottage and a fence in the back. We had a couple of small issues including fruit flies on a piece of rotten fruit in a fruit/snack bowl, and a wet rag and feather duster on the floor in one of the bedrooms.

Beautiful place with a great location for walks

First the manager was extremely accommodating and easy to get a hold of. The place is very well kept and there was a great kitchen stocked with food and spices, didn't need to buy butter or eggs. Used the grill on two nights for meals that were purchased at the local grocery (really nice place) which was 5 minutes walking distance from the property. We walked to get coffee every morning and the ferry to Seattle was just a 5 minute walk as well. Thank you for a great stay!

Fun weekend getaway

We had a great time biking around the island and eating at several fabulous restaurants that our host recommended. I highly recommend walking up the street and renting an e-bike to see the island.We will definitely be back!

Bainbridge Island Gem

If I could give this wonderful property 6 stars, I would. A clean, modern, super comfortable home with every amenity to make your stay amazing. The hosts even had the fridge filled with some basics including some wonderful treats which is rare these days. Communication was a breeze too. The location is a 5 minute walk to the center of town filled with restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops. If you want to explore on bikes, there is a bike shop 2 blocks away that rents. We will definitely rebook this gem next time we're visiting Bainbridge Island.
