Conveniently located close enough to town and ferry and is a pleasant bike ride away from shops& restaurants. Wake up in this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home to stunning views of Puget Sound & Mount Rainier from a king Bed upstairs in Master Suite (with soaking tub and walk in shower) . Second bedroom upstairs, has a queen bed in the private room, with a shared walk-in shower bathroom to the fourth sleeping area, a day bed with 2 twins able to convert to another double bed in the upstairs loft. Private downstairs bedroom with Queen Bed, with shared downstairs bathroom with walk in shower. Downstairs laundry room with washer & dryer for guest access. The house is very spacious, great floor plan and the wrap around picture windows made the view of the Seattle city lights so spectacular, any time of the day. This gourmet kitchen with its bar seating provided more room for eating, and also the table and chairs on the deck. Kitchen is well stocked with eating & cooking utensils, updated appliances, double oven and lots of cooking condiments. While cooking enjoy breathtaking views of Puget Sound & Mt. Rainer, open to the den and dining area, perfect for entertaining or intimate dining setting.
This home features private beach, with direct access from the backyard, great for bonfires, grilling, fireworks and more! Launch kayak, canoe, paddle boards and other fun water sports direct from private beach!

This is a second year that my husband and I have stayed here. There is so much to love about this space starting with the most magnificent view. We love the ease of the house for my husband who has a walker. We spend most of our time on the deck. We leave a feeling regret that we didn’t book longer. This year I decided that next year we will be here three weeks if possible. Peace, calm, sounds from the sound and the cool evening air and we are in heaven. Plus we get groceries delivered and some meals. Perfect place in time.

We were fortunate to stay at Tanglewood. It was the perfect place to gather three generations to celebrate an 80th birthday. The kitchen was fully- equipped and we enjoyed cooking and eating together. Many thanks to the host for sharing this lovely place. Amazing views, quiet, private, and a walk down to the beach. Fabulous.

This property is one of my favorite VRBO properties. Perfectly located near the ferry terminal, downtown Winslow, Bloedel Reserve, golf courses, and kayak rentals, it is a great place to end your busy days. My only wish was, we had spent more time at the house versus running around the island. The breathtaking views of Mt Rainer from almost every window and seeing Seattle lights after dark was just an extra perk! We did take the time to finish a 500 piece puzzle as we watched movies. We did not use the bbq grills or the kitchen but everything seemed to be well equipped. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will plan on returning! Thanks Barbara for sharing your ancestor’s house with us!

Great view of Seattle. Saw Mt Rainier one day. The kitchen was great for preparing Christmas Eve dinner. All rooms were comfortable. Wouk’s also be nice to stay during the summer.

The view at the house was amazing as well as the path down to the water. The house was super clean and cozy for a girls weekend. The beds were comfy- we loved the couch and fireplace in the front room to relax and chat as well take in the view. Very easy check in and check out. One thing is the fridge along with the ice machine… had a very bad smell- not sure but needs a super goo clean out. Otherwise the house is beautiful and a lovely stay for a weekend.

Fabulous house for our vacation

The house and property were exactly as shown in the description but the views are even better in person! It was a great space to enjoy with our friends and family. Seattle was a ferry ride away but we also enjoyed the local shops and parks.

Great View and House

Great view and great property

We loved this place. It had a great view of downtown Seattle and it was close to the ferry. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. The children loved going down to the rocky beach and playing.

Spectacular property

I cannot recommend this property more highly. It has truly one of the more spectacular views I have ever seen, and it is beautifully located on the island.The check-in process was smooth, the communication with the owner was exceptional, and I would stay here again!The kitchen is well stocked, including necessary, spices.

Gorgeous View and Location is Great

We love the area, it’s just a few doors up from where we had a house so it was like going back home with the same incredible view. Location is great. If you have all tall people, the sloped ceilings could be problematic.
