It truly was a unique cabin and very well suited for 2 families to stay in. We would revisit this property again, it was truly majestic!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this was right next to the RMNP Wild Basin entrance, which worked well for evening/morning hikes. The backyard stream and hot tub also created a relaxing spot. This cabin had everything we needed, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property, well-maintained and scenic. Amazingly easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, you just walk across the road and check in with the ranger station.

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the style and cleanliness of the property. The amenities were top notch, the place was comfortable, quiet and private and will definitely try to stay here again this summer. If I were to have any critique, it would be that I wished the elevator was operational so you could access the lower level from inside but that was nothing more than an minor thing at worst. Great place!

Such a beautiful property. Yes, the 2 separate entrances is a bit odd, but overall we were very pleased with this rental. Our only complaint would be that it needs to get fogged or sprayed for spiders. We had many in & out of the cabin which freaked us out.

Cory,
Thank you so much for your feedback! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We will assess the 8-legged friends inside and out of the unit.
We were more than pleasantly surprised by this amazing cabin and location! My friends and I were hiking in the Wild Basin area and felt like VIPs when we realized our cabin was a short walk to the Sand Beach Lake Trailhead. We loved the location on the river and enjoyed an evening chatting in the hot tub with the river in the background. A note to renters, access to the basement two bedrooms and bath is ONLY possible by going through an outside entrance. No access to the bottom floor from the inside. We didn't mind this. The pull out couch in the living room was comfortable especially for a sofa sleeper. We loved waking up on the river and sitting out on the patio. Waking up to a mountain view was incredible. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Thank you for providing a wonderful review of our Mountain Masterpiece! It is quite an experience to sit in the hot tub with the river flowing in the background. We have described the layout in our description but you sharing that again in your review is helpful for other guests. We hope you are able to stay with us again in the future.

The property was lovely, very quiet and peaceful. The only complaint we have is with the cleanliness of the cabin. We had to go searching for toilet paper as three of the bathrooms didn’t have any. The towels were left in the dryer instead of set out in the bathrooms. We found multiple dirty dishes put away in the cupboards and drawers. Also I’m not sure the master bedroom was vacuumed as there was a wrapper for an *adult item* under the master bed.
Overall we had a great time at Mountain Masterpiece. Location is absolutely perfect if you're wanting to access the Wild Basin entrance to the park or have an event at the Wild Basin Lodge. We loved being on the river. I was able to even spend a few hours fly fishing. Be aware of the fact that you can only access two of the bedrooms by going outside and around the back of the house. This wasn't a huge deal but I didn't pay close enough attention to the listing when we booked so it caught me by a bit of a surprise. It's also worth noting that you have to go through one of the downstairs bedrooms to access the second which might be a tad awkward for some. The house was a bit smaller than expected based on the pictures and the price, especially the kitchen, but it certainly wasn't a deal breaker. Overall we had a great stay and would absolutely consider the property again.

Carolyn: I am glad you and your family enjoyed your stay at the Mountain Masterpiece. I bet fly fishing in the river was amazing. It is such a beautiful area and great being so close to the National Park. We do not want our guests to be surprised so we are very specific is the unit description that the lower two bedrooms are only accessible from outside. I am happy that this did not take away from enjoying your vacation in the Rockies. We look forward to your staying with us in the future. Have an amazing day, Laura
We have done a lot of rental cabins and this was by far the best experience. The cabin had everything we could need, in terms of supplies. It was super comfortable and easy to use, and the location was utterly amazing. A real dream!
Two small things to be aware of: there is an event hall next door so you can clearly hear the wedding reception + party music occurring there, but it was not intrusive and always ended by 10pm. Also, the rocky spaces all around the steps make a lovely setting but beware if you fear snakes, as they often came out to sun themselves in the steps. If this frightens you or your kids beware. It is something to expect of course, we chose a place in the mountains for the natural setting, but it was distracting/disturbing for one person in our group who was scared with them on the steps and around the hot tub.
Overall our whole family enjoyed this cabin so much as we explored the nearby national park and relaxed in the peaceful place.

Great time with my friends, a great getaway. Very clean and comfortable. Just wish I knew ahead of time the second bedroom access you could only get to by going outside and either down the back deck stairs or around from the front. Outside of that everything was pretty awesome.
This property was alright for our trip but the outdoor entrance for two of the bedrooms was a bit frustrating as well as the third bedroom being right by the front door. The convenience of being next to wild basin was nice but overall it was an average rental.
We really loved this cabin. It has an amazing view from the deck and hot tub. We stayed with friends and there was plenty of room for two households. My only feedback is that the internet is pretty slow and there is no service, but that’s to be expected in the mountains. The other part that is odd is that the two additional bedrooms are downstairs and separate from the main portion of the cabin. The only way to access that portion is from the outside of the cabin which is a little tricky to navigate when it’s dark out. We would absolutely stay here again!
Perfect cabin for a wedding a Wild Basin next door. Clean, well kept, and very cozy! Saw a bear right off the stone patio. Fantastic location, access to Rocky Mtn National Park across road.
This cabin is amazing! Across from RMNP entrance and close to Estes Park. Beautiful cabin that includes everything you need. Hot tub is amazing. Two bedrooms are accessible from outside and stone stairs are steep as well as hot tub area. Bedrooms and bath are gorgeous though and worked great for our group.
Fantastic getaway!!
Great house. Secluded. The wild basin entrance to the Rocky Mountain national park is at the end of the driveway. Just be aware that there are 3 bedrooms. 1 in the main floor. The other 2 on the bottom floor. There is not connection between the main and bottom floor inside the house. You have to walk outside to get to those rooms.
The property is beautiful. It was snowing, windy and very cold so we stayed in the cabin all weekend. Note: Bring your own firewood. They provide a few bushels but this is not enough for a weekend. We are considering going back when it is warm so we can enjoy the outside.
The lower level, which includes two of the home's three bedrooms and one bathroom, is accessed only by an external staircase. This property is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
