Our house comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with one king, one full and 2 twin beds. The two bathrooms have showers and 1 has a shower/tub combo. If you need it, full laundry facilities are on the main level. Enjoy coffee and conversation indoor or outside on "flora and fauna" landscaped property. Downtown LeClaire is blocks away providing shopping, distilleries, restaurants, Buffalo Bill museum and American Pickers sights. The Raccoon House is located 1 block from Mississippi River with nearby boat launch and it is 8-10 minutes away from TBK Sports complex (via nearby 1-80), shopping, movies, restaurants and casinos. Family stay

My stepmom and I returned to LeClaire for a family event. In the end, she and I were the only two that stayed here. We had plenty of room to spread out, and having two bathrooms is a luxury so we could both get ready at the same time. The toaster quit working the first morning, and the owner brought her own toaster over immediately. What service! The area is in a quiet residential area with a beautiful view of the river.

Raccoon House

The house and grounds are beautiful. Karen, our host, was welcoming and very helpful and gave us a tour of the house when we arrived. She kept in contact during our stay and gave us helpful information regarding restaurants and sites. The house is beautiful and we lacked for nothing. The raccoon house is a gem and I know we will be back.

Retreat at raccoon house

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was located close to the wedding we were there to attend which made things easy for us. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, especially when my husband had some special needs..

The Host and Hostess were just the best!

It was just wonderful! Beautiful huge yard and gardens. Nice sitting areas on patio and porch. There was every possible thing you could need in the kitchen. Washer and dryer too! Loved the train whistles nearby! Everything was close by, and the Channel Cat was great for the price! We just couldn’t fit everything in….would like to go back sometime! The owners kept giving us great ideas and restaurants to try! They shared their darling cavapoos with us, so got our dog fix when we wanted it🐾
