Good location and proximity to Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area. House was very clean, suited our needs perfectly. I would rent again without hesitation.
The house was a great place for us to rest between hikes and activities. The host responded quickly to questions. The house could use a good deep cleaning as there were food splatters/dirty spots on cabinets and walls. The kitchen counters and bathroom features were clean, and beds were decent after a long day. Overall it was a nice little place to stay and enjoy family time.

Thank you for your review you must be talking about the food stain that you left for us to clean, as well as the garbage left behind in the house, hahaha 😂 it's okay, all oyr guests loves our house, spotless bed 14 inch mattresses, clean beautiful towels, extra blankets extra pillows, all the free amenities we provide in the bathroom!!!!
The house was Crystal Clean when you arrive. Never had any comment with the cleaning issue.
We were nice enough not to leave you any negative review or any negative remark of the distinctive smell left in the beds and we have to wash everything but that's okay that's part of our job.
Have a great day 🙏
Cute little 3 bedroom room house that is very close to mammoth cave. Even a cave in downtown (less than a mile). Quiet neighborhood. Clean and simple home for the week.
Family of 5 visit Mammoth Caves and Abraham Lincoln Birthplace
It a great small place that was nice and close for access to Mammoth Caves and other sites in the area. It would be difficult to squeeze many more people in but it was a good size for our family of 5. The kitchen was mostly well stocked but was lacking baking trays or frying pans. Thanks you!
Property was okay. There are signs all over the house about rules. The TV is super slow (think 10-20 second delay after pushing a button), a few stains on the ceiling and a little moldy smelling (it had rained a lot that weekend)
Good things - amazing air conditioning, water pressure and water temperature.
We have stayed at many, many vrbos over the years and we never were able to feel truly comfortable at this location.

This is completely unacceptable review because the house has nothing but the five star reviews from all our previous guests all from different platform. And how's Never Smell like a mold you must have allergies or difficulty in smile. The extra batteries are right next to the TVs for the remote because that is a common sense if the batteries are low charge then they're TV will respond later but we will definitely dispute this review with the VRBO. Just have nothing but the best thing to say about our properties and our service thank you and have a great day.
Great location to explore Mammoth Caves and surrounding areas. Less than 20 minute drive to Mammoth Cave visitor center. House is exactly as advertised. Kids enjoyed the welcome snack basket.
Great location and a great city. We live in a large city in the south and we decided to take a chance on this property for a family vacation. We found that this location was the perfect location for a home base while we explored the area. The house was clean and everything we expected.
We (3 adults, 2 kids) went to visit Mammoth Caves National Park. The hotels that were around were all sold out, so we booked this. So glad we did. It had all the essentials, allowed our kids to have more space and their own room; it was convenient having a full kitchen so we did breakfast and lunch at the house; and at night we were able to log into streaming accounts on the smart tv. Most of the hotel/motels we drove past looked old and sketchy, so I think that was much nicer we stayed here. Host provided easy info to check in.
This house was a perfect spot to be our base of operations as we explored Mammoth Cave and other caves and parks nearby. This is a small house but it was clean and has a nice full kitchen and bath.
Everything in the home was ready and beautiful. Bedding, pillows, towels all fresh and clean. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Great communication with our host.
We enjoyed the house and the location a lot. Convenient, easy to find location, nicely equipped kitchen, ton of sleeping space, clear communication notes regarding expectation - we had fun in this charming country home. My kids are hard to please when it comes to rental properties and they enjoyed it a lot (I'm pretty sure a bowl of candies and welcome treats have also something to do with it:) ). Thank you!
If you want to stay in the heart of cave country this is the place. Quiet neighborhood - yes there are train tracks nearby but it never bothered us and host provides ear plugs as well. Communication was too notch and quick. We struggled to get the lock box open and help arrived quickly so that was good. One small thing I noticed was plants growing in the gutters - cosmetic and easily fixed. Would stay again.
This was a nice location for a visit to Mammoth Cave. The house was clean, good space for the 8 of us, nice basket of snacks provided for the teens in our group. Very close to amenities, about 10 miles from Mammoth Cave, close to a lot of other activities as well. Only concern was we wish we had better cookware (no baking sheets or pans, frying pan handles were broken), but we were able to make it work! Enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed our time in the mammoth Cave area. The house was clean and the beds were amazing. The host provided ear plugs which my grandson used. It was July forth weekend so a ton of fireworks were going off so the ear plugs were a win. Thanks for letting us stay at your house.
My family and I stayed in this house while we visited Mammoth Cave. The house is a nice size and has plenty of places to sleep for a large family. The host was easy to communicate with and left us a welcome snack basket and plenty of recommendations. Check in and check out was incredibly easy. I would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.
This property is centrally located to many of the area attractions. We visited Kentucky Down under and Hidden River Cave both which were 4 min away. We also went to Dinosaur World, Froggets Guntown Mountian Haunted House, and JB’s Haunted House all within 10-15 min drive. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The snacks that were provided by the host was a nice treat. The host also provided ear plugs due to the nearby train, but it didn’t bother us. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area in the future.
Great place to stay. The owner made the experience even better and was one of the kindest most thoughtful owners I’ve experienced in the 5 stays I’ve had.
This was the perfect place to stay with the family. It was quiet and we had plenty of room for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the snacks and loved being able to get outside and play.
