What's better than beachfront? Our place! We are directly across the street from the beach, so you get the convenience of beachfront without the beachfront prices. You are a shorter walk to the beach from our condo than you would be in the big resorts with 'beachfront' prices.

Come relax and feel the sand between your toes in beautiful South Padre Island. This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Even better, is our location. We are directly across the street from the beach, and there is a beach access just steps from the condo. It's like being beachfront without the prices! There are no hotels around us, so the beach is not as crowded and the neighborhood is quiet.

Stream your favorite apps, ZOOM, eLearn, etc. with high-speed WIFI internet. Our condos are pet friendly and kid friendly. They are also great for a romantic getaway. Are you setting up a girls' weekend or reunion? You can rent out an entire floor or the whole building and have a private vacation!

New upgrades: Keurig coffee maker, Berlin Gardens outdoor pool furniture, 6 beach chairs, 1 Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, 6 beach towels and a beach wagon. Out door 8' professional table by the pool and outdoor TV.

We are thrilled that you are looking at spending some time with us at Athena Ares Condominiums. Our beach home is a pet friendly, family vacation rental. The traveler securing the reservation must be 25 years of age or older. For Spring Break / Semana Santa all rental guests must comply with a families only restriction. We proudly honor all military and law enforcement with a 10% discount off the nightly rate. If the dates that you are looking for are not available in this condo, we have 5 more fantastic condos in the same great complex that might work for your dates. The unit was most enjoyable for our 10 night stay. Just a quick half block to the ocean so you can walk there and enjoy for as long as you would like. The hosts have provided beach chairs, beach umbrella, mini cooler, beach towels and a wagon to get everything down to the beach. We really enjoyed the pool and hot spa. Very clean and warm! Would stay here again!

We were very happy with everything and extended our stay twice with no problems.The space is nice and it is well located.Unfortunately we got to see if the heater worked because it got quite cold on South Padre Island during our stay, and the heat and AC worked just fine. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was a bonus.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was perfect for our family, and we were even able to bring our fur baby as well. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool area was great - We could have spent every day just hanging out by the pool and playing corn hole, shooting pool or watching movies. If we are ever in SPI again, we will definitely stay here!!

We had a wonderful time and the property was perfect. Took my daughter, my sister, our pup and friends down for spring break. Condo had plenty of space and alllll the amenities. So nice to have a heated pool since the weather was a bit chilly. Very close to the beach and 4 blocks from wanna wanna! Check in was easy. I forgot to sign the docs (doh!)and the team was incredibly helpful with making sure we had everything ready to check in. 10/10 will book again!

Why they chose this property

The location is great! We can easily head back to the condo for lunch or just to grab more digging stuff. Then it's just a 1-2 minute walk back across the street and we are there, in the water! We also love walking down to the Wanna Wanna Inn for fried shrimp, cold beer, and good music. When our family comes to visit, we stay in all of the condos and spread out. We get to enjoy being close together without listening to each other snore!
