Stayed for Cheer Competition

We showed up early Friday and when I checked in my room was already ready. Quick and easy check in. I used valet parking because it was me and my 2 girls and I didn’t want to be walking across A1A alone. Valet was an easy service as well. Only problem we had was that we had no beach access in front of the hotel. The erosion made it so you had to walk way down the boardwalk to get to the beach stairs.

Good Location

The property was convenient to almost everything. Centrally located on the A1A strip. The property had great staff and onsite Starbucks. The only con was the beds in the room. The beds were horrible for sleepy. The bathroom could use some updating as well.

Cheer Competition weekend

We booked this unit for my daughters cheer competition across the street. It was clean and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the local restaurants and bars the first night but the weather was bad on our second day. We used the hotel restaurant and rum room that evening and it was fun. The only downside was the line to valet was long but they were fairly efficient. Overall I would stay here again.

Update Needed

The stairs to the beach at the property were all gone due to erosion. The distance to obtain beach access was extremely far and difficult for me. There should be a warning posted until the problem is corrected so people are aware. This situation made our stay less enjoyable.

Hilton needs major cleaning

The hotel was dirty not only in the rooms but on the grounds as well. Also booked a suite and was only able to get a double occupancy. Would not recommend

Perfect

We got our 2 daughters a trip to Daytona and they were supposed to stay with family members in Port Orange. LSS that fell through and I quickly needed a location for them to stay at. I needed a location on the beach, w/ Pools open. (Hurricane) A place that had a 24/7 occupied front desk, clean and the most important, safe for my girls to enjoy the resort and the surrounding area. This was it. My girls loved it. I was in communication with the Hilton front desk and the 3rd party agent Roompicks, and they were incredible. They made a Dad feel comfortable knowing my girls were staying on their site, plus the room requested was perfect for them. A great view of the ocean. Nice job ya’ll, my girls are already asking for me to book another trip for them there.

Needs upgrade

the bathroom needs to be upgraded and cleaned. The bathtub had rust all around the drain and at the bottom of the bathtub. The air vent in the bathroom was so caked with Gunk on the inside that it didn't even work. Then to walk out to the beach was not convenient anymore because the beach had erosion and you had to walk pretty far down the boardwalk to access entry to the beach

Hilton on the Beach

The unit is a hotel room; we were upgraded to a beach front room which was nice. However, the noise from the band shell was overpowering even with the door closed. One night it went until after 10 pm. The parking is listed as $30 per night. That is correct except it is open air parking across the street. Covered valet parking is $40 which we chose. The hotel uses bell hops to transport your luggage. However, when leaving all you do is let the valet parking know you are leaving, then call the bell hop; your luggage will be at your car by the time you get there. But, we did enjoy the location overall, the friendly staff and the amenities

Nightmare stay

From the moment we checked in it went wrong. Took 45 minutes past check in to get room keys, room was dark and cramped with a view of only the parking garage. You pay $30 a night to park 2 blocks away in an pothole filled lot. The sinks did not drain properly neither did the tub so you shower in standing water with a luke warm shower at best. Then upon checkout we waited almost 2 hours for a bellhop before carrying our belongings down to our truck because one never came. This entire trip was ruined by this hotel.
