'Crow's Nest' Like being at the top of a tall ship, panoramic Pacific Ocean views! This beautiful comfortable FOUR bedroom, two full bath home welcomes 8 guests. Fully equipped with fresh linens, towels and a washer/dryer. When you walk through the gate a gorgeous garden greets you with flowers, herbs, buzzing hummingbirds, bird bath, picnic table, chairs and a Weber Grill all await you. Enjoy our large deck view of rolling hills behind you, watch a full moon come up, or enjoy a nice glass of wine on a starry night. No neighbors to the North, just some happy California cows and their calves grazing the lush sloping green pastures down to the sea. Got bucks? We do, big antlers/horns and lots of deer, fawns, foxes, bobcats, and bunnies. Just a 5-minute walk down to the beach an array of seabirds, shells, beach glass, seals, seagulls, driftwood, starfish, and tide pools all waiting for you to explore. Walk through the front door and it feels like home. Big family room with high ceilings, leather couch, comfy chairs, wood burning stove, 65" HGTV, large picture windows! Formal dining area, updated gourmet kitchen, cookbooks, large selection of pots and pans, tea, coffee, cream, and sugar provided. Upstairs are three bedrooms with great ocean views, and a full bath. sitting area with recliner a built-in couch with big colorful pillows, huge bookcase full of good books, surely something for everyone to enjoy. Stunning views of the garden below and rolling hills. The master bedroom is downstairs with its own full bath, wood stove, awesome ocean and pasture views! Local attractions and favorite places include, golfing, shopping, horseback riding on the beach, surfing, sports fishing, biking, kayaking, galleries, local wineries, candy and kite stores, great restaurants with locally caught fresh seafood! Arriving for the holidays? A beautifully decorated tree with lights, perfectly placed ornaments and decoration throughout this home gives it a very warm and festive feeling. Enjoy!

The Crows Nest was a fantastic retreat fory friend group. Lots of space for activities, cooking, etc and a stones throw from the beautiful Sonoma coast. Highly recommend staying here. The host was easy to reach and check in/out was a very easy process

This was a lovely home! The garden area was beautiful to sit around. Home was spacious & accommodating for our dog. It was nice to have a contained area, while still enjoying the magnificent views of ocean and countryside from every room in the home and garden. The decor was beautifully staged (beach feeling). Kitchen had everything you could possibly need for entertaining. The host was very communicative from the start of booking, through check-in & check-out. It was a great get away place! I would definitely consider this a great place for family vacation!

The place is charming. Mia, the host was wonderful to work with. I have crazy allergies and asked if she was willing to use my products if I sent them to her (something that makes a visit safe for me), and she happily agreed to and even started using them 3 weeks ahead of the visit. Mia was fabulous.

This property was one of the very few on available at the time on VRBO in the Bodega Bay Area that had a fully enclosed outdoor area for the dogs. It was the perfect spot to get away from the 100 degree heat in Las Vegas, NV with my BFF. It was more room than we actually needed so it was a bit pricier, but again because the outdoor area was fully enclosed, it was the best for my needs. We were able to see a lot of wild life. A solo gray fox pup that we named “Hans Solo” visited everyday, Lots of birds, butterflies and even heard what we thought might be a coyote one night. Deer paraded around the neighborhood and we even saw a deer galloping across several front yards on Highway 1. The weather in August was cool and never got above 66 degrees until the last day when the full sun came out. The beds were very comfortable. The views from the home were spectacular. Definitely recommend especially if traveling as a family. Mia, the host was very easy to communicate with.

The home is a beautiful example of coastal architecture and the views inside looking out are stunning. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us, kitchen was well equipped, plenty of extra linens and comfortable sitting areas. The outside patio area was beautiful and a good place to enjoy morning coffee. We enjoyed the visiting wildlife as well.

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The property is exactly as shown in the listing. It was nice having the master bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor as it made staying here comfortable for my 89 year old grandmother. Would definitely recommend for a quiet family getaway.

Wonderful Family Vacation
