House with a view

Pleasant stay in very nice surroundings with a great view of the valley. However, a bit secluded and less infrastructure around it. If you can manage without WiFi and air conditioning, this is the place to be if you need time to switch off!

Saint-Blaise

The house was beautiful and clean and the children loved the pool. The surrounding area is stunning and very much the relaxing holiday we were looking for. Monique was extremely helpful and caring and would love to return she was the a very kind and generous host. If we did rerurn though we would ensure the hire car as we were 30 minute drive from train station into the city and taxis are very expensive to this area. Monique and the house though no complaints at all it was wonderful. Sad to leave

Un endroit pour ceux qui cherche un endroit paisible avec beaucoup de site à visiter à moins d'une heure à la ronde. Une maison qui a une histoire et où l'on s'est senti bien tout de suite avec un accueil au petits soins et discrets à la fois. Nous remercions nos hôtes et reviendrons.

Zeer rustig, prachtige uitzicht, mooi schoon zwembad en goed en zeer schoon huis.

Verblijf was om geheel en al tot rust te komen en ook om deze omgeving te gaan bekijken. Niet zo toeristisch.

Reposant et vue panoramique

Très bel endroit, accessible par des routes bien escarpées. Logement très bien, piscine super. 45 min de nice. 1h20 du Mercantour au plus proche. 40 min de Eze et 50 de Monaco.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte où tout est très bien pensé. Bravo pour l'aménagement et les petites attentions. La piscine est un super atout. Очень чистый и уютный дом

Нас встретила приветливая хозяйка, которая говорит только по-французски. Парковочное место довольно большое. Перед домом размещен тенистый палисадник с садовым домиком и местом для гриля. Тут же есть лежаки и открывается изумительный вид на горы. Дом полностью ваш, довольно уютный, чистый и просторный. Имеется туалет для гостей. На всех окнах установлены москитные сетки, которые при желании легко убираются. Очень ухоженный небольшой бассейн, к сожалению без зонтиков, но есть затененная сеткой комната. Интернет только мобильный, без Wi-Fi. Я пользовался Vodafone 10 гБ в день за 4,99€, без проблем, скорость 5G, тупило только один день. До пляжа Ниццы ехать всего 20 км, но по времени займет около часа, т.к. дорога горная и узкая, хотя мы на мерсе Е-класса справлялись. Посещали Санремо, Ниццу, Монако, Канны. Всё очень доступно. Поднимались пешком в развалины Le Costel в Saint-Blaise, вид - изумительный. По утрам кричит где-то петух, по ночам - лягушки, но при закрытых окнах и дверях очень тихо. Мы отдыхали 2 недели и остались очень довольны.

Séjour en famille à Sainte Blaise

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Saint-Blaise dans le gîte de Monique. Le site est très calme et bénéficie d'un jardin, d'une piscine et d'une très belle vue sur la vallée. Le gîte est conforme au descriptif et très bien équipé. La piscine est très bien entretenue et nous a permis de supporter les fortes températures de l'été 2022. Le gîte est situé dans l'arrière pays niçois ce qui permet de conjuguer escapades sur la côte et balades dans le parc du Mercantour. Par contre, il ne faut pas avoir peur des petites routes sinueuses. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour chez Monique qui est soucieuse du bien être de ses hôtes.

We werden super hartelijk ontvangen met een korte rondleiding in het kraaknette huisje. Alles is zeer verzorgd en het was heerlijk vertoeven in de tuin en aan het zwembad met het prachtige zicht op de vallei. Uitstapjes, zowel in de bergen als naar de zee zijn goed mogelijk.

Excellente location entre mer et montagne ,très bien située pour visiter la région (randonnées , visites , patrimoine ,baignades ect..), au calme et très bien équipée pour passer de bonnes vacances . Idyllic rural location not far from Nice

We are a family of four from the UK who really enjoyed our stay at Monique's place. The location of this property with its private pool and the hospitality we received from Monique, Sandrine and Jean-Christophe was perfect for us. The house is located on the edge of a beautiful Valley with panoramic views that can be enjoyed from the garden or the poolside. The property itself is renovated to a very high standard and still looks new. Everything works and the internet was surprisingly good for such a rural location. Having a car is a must as you will need to get your groceries from the larger towns. Nice is only about 20 km away but please be aware that it is a windy road through the hills so takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Overall we would rate this stay as 5 out of 5 if you like the tranquil countryside with a view, while still having all the modern amenities. We wish you all the very best and look forward to the opportunity to return to your beautiful home.
