Spacious open floor plan with plenty of sunshine and room to relax. Features full screened in porch with open decks on the front and back of the cottage. Great space to hang out in the evening, listen to the waves and enjoy a cold cocktail.
Convenient location for anyone who loves the beach - this cottage is best enjoyed outdoors. If you love the beach, hanging on the deck, and using the outside shower - this cottage is for you! If you are looking for a new home decorated with Pottery Barn, it is down the street.
Plenty of off-street parking.
New in 2022, central air conditioning added to the entire cottage.

Beach side getaway

Visited for spring break. Lovely, practical, property, just as advertised. Kitchen was very well stocked with all equipment needed for cooking and baking. Plenty of games and books. Hammock was an unexpected addition. Perfect for a family getaway with older kids (ages 8-15). Direct access to the beach. Spent hours walking and playing on the beach. WouldLove to visit again.

Awesome stay

Great cottage…. Beautiful sunrises and great walks on the beach… We did have issues with gnats in the house, but other than that had a great time . The dogs had a great time as well. Thank you so much!

Wonderful unpretentious beach cottage on the bay, nice calm water unlike the ocean, our dog loved every minute of it. Nice and intimate size, not too big, and super comfortable.. Very clean and fresh- smelling,, no must idyrs

Lovely Hideaway

This lovely cabin is located perfectly. A short stroll to the waves with a beautiful view of the dunes. Comfy beds and screened in porch all add to the peaceful stay.

Wonderful Broadkill home!

We had a wonderful time in Broadkill this year. The home was perfect for our family! It was extremely clean. The outdoor shower and multiple hoses around the property are perfect for getting cleaned off after a day at the beach. Todd was very responsive to our questions prior to and during our stay. We hope to be back again!

Peaceful

The Lawson property reminded us of beach cottages from our childhoods, in a good way. It is charming and cozy while having all the comforts of home. The beach was easily accessible and we had a great time.

The listing was just like the listing was represented online. The cottage was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The screened in porch was very nice to sit and listen to the waves. The cottage is steps from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay here again.

we have been coming for a few years and it definatly is our home away from home. So much so when we come off beach we tell our dog to go home and he takes himself there!!!! the new deck is my favorite part and the outdoot shower is beautiful

Spring break getaway

We had a great time at this cozy cottage with our 3 children! The weather did not cooperate but it didn’t stop us from exploring the area. Will have to go back to try a bonfire on the beach one day! Todd was excellent at communication when we had a question/concern. Love the deck and the view!!

A gem of a beach house!

We were so delighted with our stay in this sweet little beach cottage. We stayed with our three adult children and their spouses and one small dog. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect! Right on a lovely quiet bay beach. But a short drive away from the ocean beaches for a play in the waves. It was a nice walk up to the adorable Broadkill Store, which we frequented for their delicious ice cream! We very much enjoyed the large screened in deck which easily accomodated all 8 of us for dinners and games in the evenings. We also enjoyed a few short day trips to the Futuro House and the Deleware Botanical Gardens. We did not need to contact the owners during our stay, but I would love to meet them sometime. All in all it was the perfect summer getaway. I would highly recommend this beach house for a delightful summer vacation.

Construction Zone

The house was lovely, but weekdays are a heavy construction zone. Drilling right under the windows of the living room for geothermal heat. Awakened at 8 am, very loud construction til 4. Dream vacation? NOT! It was more like a nightmare. Not only construction beside this house but to the back and right another home being built. Digging of 2 septic tanks with a backhoe at 8 am and through the day. If you want a quiet vacation this is not the place for you. Very unfortunate and lost a significant amount of money.

This is a family owned cottage that we stay in when we do not rent it during the season. The cottage is "well loved" and great for families looking to chill out at the beach, read a book, or enjoy appetizers on the porch. The cottage is not huge, perfect size for a family of 6-8 people. It has one bathroom so that is always a pinch point. But you can't beat the access...we are right at the edge of the dune. 30 seconds and you're at the water's edge.
