Excellent little cottage close to local attractions.
We used the cottage as a base while visiting family in the area. It was very clean and comfortable and the garden was a real bonus with a dog. We would definitely stay here again if visiting.
The property was beautifully styled and very in keeping with the area. Very comfortable stay, the kitchen was fully equipped. The cottage is close to popular seaside towns and places of interest, making it the perfect base for a long weekend or week! Would happily book to stay here again, we had such a lovely weekend, thank you!
A lovely holiday home, very clean and comfortable. Firstly the negatives:if you’re over 5’11 you cant stand comfortably in the kitchen. If you’re 5’6” you’ll still bump your head a fair bit in places. I have left a note to the host for kitchen short comings and put these down to being late in the season. The fridge is also quite small, and freezer is an icebox in top of fridge. Positives- there are many: this cottage is super comfy, comfy sofas and beds it is in a superb location for access to sheringham, E&W Runton and Cromer, the locals have been so warm, friendly and uber helpful. Parking is for 1 car only but we parked another in the village easily. Garden accessed off courtyard out of site from property but seemed well fenced and ok to let dog off for a run. This was a great place for the 5 of us plus dog for a week.
No wooden spoons, only one dw tablet, no dust pan, no side tables for cups. Small things but sorting it will make a difference! The beds were super comfy thanks
A thoroughly enjoyable stay in Bodham. The cottage has lots of character and is well equipped with a modern kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. It is in a great location being only a short drive from Cromer, Sheringham and Holt. There is so much to explore in the area with lovely beaches and interesting sea side towns as well as nearby Sheringham Park and Weybourne train station. We would thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay for exploring north Norfolk.
Lovely cottage, well maintained with plenty of beds, a great shower and greatly appreciated by our cocker spaniel. The local pub was super and very friendly.
Great place to stay to explore Norfolk and it’s wonderful beaches.
Would have preferred the garden to be attached to the property but it was only a 20s walks d the dogs and kids loved it.
a lovely cottage set in the small village of bodham, very clean and lots bigger than you think. we are a family of 4 and all had our own space, the garden is beautiful.we will be back..

Helpful owner
The cottage was nice and Bodham has a good location between Holt and Sheringham. The owners were very helpful and responsive to questions about the area and the house. The kitchen is well equipped from an equipment and cleaning perspective but no cooking basics such as salt and pepper so everything needs to be brought with you. Cleanliness rated a 2 as we found some rubbish and clothes left from previous occupants as well as needing to wash some pans and dishes before first use.
Beautifully located in original farmstead site. Furniture & furnishings of a good standard.
Lack of a modern shower facility a deficit. Directions re. heater settings would have helped.
But a great place & would recommend to others.
Beautiful cottage in a nice quiet village and perfect location for Sheringham beach and crabbing in Cromer.
Property could do with some modernisation, pretty tough trying to wash two kids and their hair with no shower. Also some basics are needed in the kitchen like tea towels, dish cloths etc.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

COTTAGE
The cottage is cosy, in the case of the twin bedded room very cosy!!! It is really only suitable for children not adults. The shower appliance was really not worth putting there, it wasted more water than if a shower was installed.
Also the blur stated DVD being available which this was not and the owner explained reasons why. He did say that Netflix was available, which it was but you have to have an account otherwise no access. Owner may think about possibly paying the monthly subscription.
Overall location was brilliant to get to the various places and the Red Hart pub was very friendly and food was good.
