ABOUT THE HOUSE: This two-story riverfront cabin in beautiful Fraser is the perfect luxury base camp for mountain bikers, fly-fishers, skiers, boarders, and outdoors enthusiasts of all stripes! Outfitted with all the modern comforts of home, its location and style will be perfect for your Rocky Mountain retreat. This luxury cabin has three bedrooms and two baths and sleeps six adults, with enough room to spread out comfortably on two levels. Take in the unobstructed views of the Fraser Valley and mountain peaks from every window, from the private hot tub, and from the rocking chairs on the spacious wrap-around deck.
Please note - the maximum occupancy is SIX ADULTS, plus up to three additional children. This is based on the operating capacity of the septic tank, and so we cannot make exceptions.
OUTDOORS: Mountain Biking – Gear up! Singletrack begins a quarter-mile from the front door. With access to Grand County’s 600 miles of trails and two downhill bike parks, there’s something for riders of all ability. The cabin is equipped with a bike wash and air pump.
Fly Fishing – Enjoy 200 feet of private water on the property, and walkable access to 1,200 square miles of national forest with endless trout fishing on public lands.
Skiing/Boarding - Winter Park Resort is only a 15 minute drive to the parking lot.
Cross Country Skiing - put your skis on in the driveway, go as far as you like!
LOCAL AMENITIES: The Cabin is centrally located for all Grand County has to offer - only a five-minute drive to downtown Fraser’s restaurants, distillery, brew pubs, and shops, and a short 10 minutes to Winter Park, 15 minutes to Devil's Thumb Ranch, and 45 minutes to Grand Lake. Yet, this home feels a world away, situated on the fringe of the Arapaho National Forest, with mountain peaks in all directions, and the creek directly in front of the property.
INSIDE THE HOME: The Great Room is designed for warmth and conversation around the fireplace amid the peaceful mountain valley views. Bluetooth speakers allow you to stream your own music or open the windows and let in the babbling sound of the creek. A second living room downstairs offers a 60” smart HDTV with AppleTV, cozy new sectional couch, foosball table, and fireplace.
For families with young children, we provide a highchair, a pack-n-play crib, bumbo seat, and toys suitable for ages newborn to three. For adults and kids alike, we have a large selection of board games, puzzles, a foosball table, and books for readers of all ages.
If you must get work done, there is a desk with a 24-inch Dell monitor and full-sized wireless keyboard and mouse that will connect to your computer via HDMI (monitor) and USB (single connection for both keyboard and mouse). WiFi from Starlink provides 100 Mbps on average.
The home is dog-friendly only. Sorry, no other pets permitted. Limit one dog at a time. Please message us to request exceptions. Water and food bowls are provided.
Regardless of what time of the year you decide to visit, or how you choose to spend your time here, this exceptional vacation home will serve as the perfect jumping off point for all of your Colorado adventures!
