A luxury coastal holiday home with panoramic views of the English Channel

Victory House is a stunning, colonial style property overlooking Oldstairs Bay in Kingsdown. This wonderful family home with 4 bedrooms is now being made available for summer bookings. Immaculately presented and furnished in a sophisticated, classic seaside style the accommodation also boasts a wonderful conservatory and lawned gardens. Enjoy far reaching views over the English Channel whilst relaxing on the black and white tiled verandah. Victory House is perfect for families, groups and special occasions.

The dining room is a huge light-filled room with white shutters and a wood burner. There is a stunning conservatory which overlooks the pretty garden with seating outside. The hallway has two lovely big armchairs to sit and read or look at the crashing waves below. The sitting room is an impressively large room, with enormous sofas and a wonderful open fire. There are again windows to the front, with magnificent views to the sea and the beach.There is a wonderfully equipped kitchen with a useful utility area or a perfect place for the beach gear. The four double bedrooms are truly comfortable and two boast sea views.This really is a unique seaside dream home.

After a lazy breakfast step outside and breathe in that salty air, there is no better way to start the day. Clamber down the few steps on to the beach for a dip or when the tide is out grab the fishing nets and do some rock pooling.

Dining Room - dining room table and chairs to seat 6, attractive square bay window, wood panelling, fireplace with wood burner.
Conservatory - windows on two sides and ample seating.
Good size kitchen with island and hanging pendant lights, hob, oven, kettle, microvave, radio, larder and utility off the kitchen.
Ground floor double bedroom with stand-alone bath tub.
Ground floor bathroom with bath and basin.

Main double bedroom with dual aspect and window seat, shutters and wonderful sea views.
2 x double bedrooms both with bay windows and shutters - the front one with sea views and the back window overlooking pretty Victorian Coastguard cottages.
Shower room.

Outside

Elevated position with incredible views of the beach and sea. Gardens to the front and rear mainly laid to lawn with borders of flowering shrubs and plants. Black and white tiled verandah. Ample free parking.

Beautiful house on the cliffs

A wonderful week

We had the most idyllic time at Victory at Cliffe. The location is unbelievable - the sunrises and sunsets from the garden are breathtaking, looking out at the sea. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the decor is lovely. It's also the perfect base from which to explore this part of Kent and we took day trips to Hastings, Deal and Canterbury. Victory is a very special place and we very much hope to return again.

Luxurious seaside home

We stayed with our grown daughters and their partners, booked the sunshine too. Gardens front and back to catch the sun or sea breeze or shelter as you wished. Every bedroom is large and comfortable. Big kitchen and we cooked a lot. Coffee machine was popular. TV struggled with all the family on WiFi. Great spot for walking over the cliffs with chalk meadows full of late summer wild flowers to St Margaret’s bay; lunched at The Coast Guard and the Pines. Walked to Walmer Castle via coast path and into Deal, evening drinks at Zetland Arms watching the sun go down. Beach is stony bring shoes to go in water. Beautiful house, lots of space, really comfortable, can park the car and get about on foot.

Christmas at Victory

We arrived at Victory the day before Christmas Eve to a simply stunning sight the house is in a fabulous location overlooking the beach and sea the house itself is magnificent and was beautiful decorated for Christmas. Each room was a joy beautifully furnished with plenty of space the living room more than accommodated six adults with a beautiful fire place and bay windows overlooking the ocean. The kitchen dining room definitely has the wow factor, it was beautiful in the winter and I can only imagine more so come summer with outside space to the rear and the front of the house. We would definitely stay at Victory again. The team at keeper’s cottages made the whole experience for start to finish extremely easy.

Wonderful lication

The location of this house cannot be disputed extraordinary and the sense of light and space as well as feeling incredibly homely. A couple of things to the owners that might be helpful is that there are actually only a couple of dining chairs other than the bench for a house that seats eight. The upstairs bathroom needs updating and attention. It does not really fit with the rest of the house. However, the beds are incredibly comfortable. Bedlinen is good could be better for the price, as well as the towels. which were basic but adequate. The generosity of all the fittings and fixtures was unstinting in so very many ways. We hope our feedback is constructive and kind and helpful to the next family or friends or both. You are lucky enough to stay at victory at Cliff thank you very much

Superb location, fantastic facilities and helpful hosts.

This house is right on the seafront at Kingsdown with amazing views from so many rooms in the house d footpaths in three directions from the doorstep. The lounge has large, comfortable sofas, an open fire and great views out. The kitchen is large, very well equipped and a lovely place to gather with another fire place. Bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. The only thing I would suggest is better curtains in the downstairs bedroom as there are only very thin currently and this window does overlook other properties and makes it feel uncomfortable at night. Parking next to gate for one large car and free parking opposite. Access from side gate is fine but from front there are steep irregular steps that would be best avoided if not steady on your feet. Local pubs in easy walking distance and can recommend Zetland arms on beach. Walk to Deal with its pier with a fab restaurant for brunch and old town are a very enjoyable hour or so walk away following the coast.Sandwich is a short drive away and agin very nice for a stroll around for a morning.
