The property was in an excellent location, well appointed, washer/dryer easily accessible. There was no air conditioner but excellent fan and easily to open windows.

I'm a little surprised by your comment about the air conditioning, as there is a portable AC unit available in the apartment throughout the summer. When the weather isn’t too hot, I usually keep it just to the side of the window so that it doesn’t block the window unnecessarily. Perhaps this is what you meant in your comment. Look no further, this apartment is perfect! It is in an excellent location within walking distance to numerous museums and attractions. The area is incredibly safe and there are many restaurants, bakeries and shops right out your doorstep. Mathieu answered all our questions and provided recommendations…a couple “musts” are hot chocolate at Carette and the croissants at Brigat! The apartment itself was clean, the bed was comfortable, and having a little extra space (versus staying at a hotel) was a bonus. I will most definitely be returning!!

A great little apartment for a couple or single person. Excellent location. Very good bed and linen. Laundry facility very good. Bathroom a little aged but otherwise ok. And the elevator made what would otherwise be an impossible climb with suitcases, very easy.Mathieu was a most excellent host who remained in constant contact with us. So accomodating and helpful. We would certainly return.

My boyfriend and I booked for 11 days. This is a well located and well cared for property. Matthieu was very helpful with information on dining and shopping as well as making sure we were comfortable in the unprecedented heatwave. He is a great host. We would definitely stay there again. It was lovely.

Mathieu was a terrific host, he communicated regularly and answered questions immediately. The place was perfect, comfortable and very Paris with great decor! Le Marais is a wonderful place to stay; very close to the Seine, Notre Dame, the Louvre and many other sites. Only a 3 minute walk to the Metro, it was so easy to travel everywhere. There are many great restaurants right in Le Marais that we did not have to leave the area for dinner. I would stay there again!

Our stay was absolutely lovely. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and the apartment and neighborhood were perfect for a romantic and celebratory week in Paris. Mathieu was an excellent host who was never hovering, but very responsive. He even reached out to us to tell us how to turn on the heat before we asked (Paris was unseasonably chilly the week we visited and Mathieu wanted to make sure we stayed cozy). The apartment was spotless when we arrived and the elevator worked well when we didn’t feel like hiking up the stairs after touring from morning until night. We felt very secure in the building and did not experience any noise from the street below. It is close to the metro and the host provided numerous recommendations for restaurants and cafes that made our holiday even better. I highly recommend living like a Parisian and staying in this apartment. The fabulous neighborhood and apartment had everything we wanted and more.

Wonderful stay!

We loved staying in Mathieu's apartment. It was perfect for the two of us - - cozy, charming, and a great location. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Mathieu provided excellent restaurant recommendations. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely apartment

We had a wonderful stay. Mathieu is an attentive host and has decorated the apartment beautifully. The location in the Marais is perfect, the bed really comfortable and check in easy. Will be back!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay in this apartment. The location is about the best you can get in Paris half a block from Place des Vogues. The apartment is charming and the kitchen adequate for breakfast a perhaps a light supper - don't be planning real cooking in this spot. And why would you with the range of restaurants close at hand.
