Charming, welcoming, cozy, and in a great location!
Loved this spot for exploring Alameda - which itself is a great city - and the rest of the Bay Area. Impeccably clean, adorable, and peaceful. A perfect place to come home all week to after exploring the area.
This charming apartment is on the bottom floor of a beautiful Victorian home. Just perfect for two people who aren’t interested in climbing stairs. There is a small kitchen and sitting room separate from the bedroom, I guess it is a studio. We will stay there again.
Was just as listed, small but well equipped kitchen, charming garden, nice neighborhood. As others have mentioned, soundproofing form upstairs apartment is lacking.
Great location, updated interior. Amazing shower. Visiting family on the island and this was the perfect place for us to sleep at night. Bicycling distance to all areas of the island.
This property lived up to all it was advertised to be. Clean, beautiful, quiet, and cozy. It had everything you need, and was close to all. Definitely would stay again.
Loved the downstairs setup. Everything was clean, neat and convenient. Loved having the laundry available to us.
Would like to try upstairs next year when we bring our daughter out with us.
Super clean, perfect for my husband and I. Loved that it was close enough to walk to things in Alameda. Super clean, had everything we could have needed, 5+ rating! The host was very helpful and welcoming!
Wonderful property in a great town of Alameda. First time in the Bay Area and this was a great spot to find ourselves. Easy access to San Francisco and plenty to walk around to see locally on the island. Navin was great and provided quick responses to a few questions we had. Overall a lovely stay. Thanks Navin!
Beautifully restored and has details you’ll want in your house.
Sparkling clean, private, and all 5 star reviews are spot on. You won’t be disappointed. Navin is an excellent host, he is available for questions/requests but gives you plenty of space and privacy.
Beautifully equipped 1-bedroom apartment. Clean, high-end fixtures in quiet neighborhood w/ample parking. Great water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed. Sleeper couch was adequate. Ground coffee was provided; very much appreciated. The garden is a special treat; mature fruit trees, hydrangea plants, trumpet vines, and honeysuckle…just lovely.
Although the property itself was very well appointed, there were guests staying upstairs with small children, so the constant racket over my head, dragging furniture etc. was unpleasant. I wish I had known.,. I would not have stayed here..

About the host

I moved to Alameda in 2017 after living in San Francisco since 1999. I love the beauty of the island of Alameda surrounded by the bay and full of historical buildings and homes. Walk or take a bicycle along the pedestrian/bicycle path and you will be immersed in nature with the bay, marshland and critters such as ground squirrels, birds (brown pelican, blue heron, egrets, and many many more) A 15 minute ferry ride brings you to the Ferry Building in San Francisco!
Why they chose this property
I love the tree lined street full of beautiful Victorians and just a 15 - 20 minute walk to Alameda Beach.
What makes this property unique
There are many wineries, breweries, and distilleries in Alameda Point with the San Francisco skyline as the backdrop. Beautiful place to watch the sunset! Once you come to the island, you will never want to leave it!
