Recently renovated home in Alameda island with a 15 minute ferry to SF. The lower level of this beautifully restored home in Alameda is a 15 minute walk to the Alameda Beach and Crown Memorial Park. Webster street is a 10 minute walk where you will find an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Park Street is the main historical downtown where you will find many boutiques, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. The home has a walkscore of 82:

I can’t gush enough about this place. The host is an absolute gem who somehow manages to balance being instantly accessible while also very respectful of privacy. Check in and check out were a breeze. The place is so quiet and peaceful with a beautiful garden, all natural fibers for bedding/throw blankets/towels, high end appliances, and thoughtful details throughout. In the garden are birds, butterflies, dragonflies, fountains, trees, and fragrant flowers. This is pretty much heaven on earth.
My dog is usually very shy but loved the place instantly and was very comfy!
Looking down the street. The owner let us use his bikes to explore Alameda! He’s so generous with his time too and gave us tours of the neighborhoods, bike trails, and many sights.

Cozy apartment

This charming apartment is on the bottom floor of a beautiful Victorian home. Just perfect for two people who aren’t interested in climbing stairs. There is a small kitchen and sitting room separate from the bedroom, I guess it is a studio. We will stay there again.

I moved to Alameda in 2017 after living in San Francisco since 1999. I love the beauty of the island of Alameda surrounded by the bay and full of historical buildings and homes. Walk or take a bicycle along the pedestrian/bicycle path and you will be immersed in nature with the bay, marshland and critters such as ground squirrels, birds (brown pelican, blue heron, egrets, and many many more) A 15 minute ferry ride brings you to the Ferry Building in San Francisco!

I love the tree lined street full of beautiful Victorians and just a 15 - 20 minute walk to Alameda Beach.

What makes this property unique

There are many wineries, breweries, and distilleries in Alameda Point with the San Francisco skyline as the backdrop. Beautiful place to watch the sunset! Once you come to the island, you will never want to leave it!
