Welcome to my garden-level flat in one of Alameda’s charming historic neighborhoods. This comfortable one-bedroom apartment combines the character of a classic Victorian home with a clean, minimalist style and thoughtfully selected natural and sustainable furnishings.
The location is ideal for exploring Alameda and the Bay Area. Alameda Beach and Crown Memorial State Park are about a 10-minute walk, while Webster Street’s cafés, restaurants, bars and boutiques are also nearby. Historic Park Street, Alameda’s main downtown district, offers even more restaurants, shops and cafés. San Francisco is easily accessible by ferry.

Walk or take a bicycle along the pedestrian/bicycle path and you will be immersed in nature with the bay, marshland and critters such as ground squirrels, birds (brown pelican, blue heron, oyster catchers, egrets, and many many more) A twenty minute beautiful ferry ride brings you to the Ferry Building in San Francisco!

I chose this neighborhood because I love the relaxed, residential feel of Alameda while still being close to everything. I enjoy being able to walk or bike to the beach, local cafés, restaurants, and shops, while having a peaceful place to come home to.

The beautiful historic homes, tree-lined streets, and friendly neighborhood atmosphere are also a big part of what makes this area special to me.

I also love how easy it is to get to San Francisco and explore the rest of the Bay Area from here.

What makes this property unique

What makes my place unique is its combination of historic Alameda character, a peaceful garden-level setting, and a simple, thoughtfully designed interior. I’ve furnished the space with natural and sustainable materials, comfortable cotton linens, and everything I think guests need for a relaxing stay.

The location is another highlight. You can walk to the beach, cafés, restaurants, and shops, while still enjoying the quiet atmosphere of a residential neighborhood. It’s also an easy base for exploring San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area.

I’ve tried to create a space that feels more like a comfortable home than a typical vacation rental.
