The ash trees of Augustus

"Les frênes d'Auguste" are located at the exit of the village of Clavières at an altitude of 1050 m, on the south-western slope of the Margeride massif and a quarter of an hour from the A 75 which crosses the Massif central from north to south, from Clermont-Ferrand to Montpellier.

This cottage, opened in spring 2019, has been completely refurbished in an old farm building. It has four bedrooms and can accommodate 8 to 10 people.

We chose this place for the space, the horizon and the exceptional view it offers on the Plomb du Cantal, the Aubrac plateau, the reliefs, meadows and villages of Margeride, the Garabit Viaduct in the distant, red in the morning sun.

We have arranged each room to make the most of this view and this environment.

We invite you to take advantage of these landscapes, always renewed by the seasons and the work of men, to discover their history and to share the present. "

On the ground floor,
    A large living room of 65 m2 with fireplace, TV and Hifi,
    Attached kitchen, fitted, with central pedestal,
    Entrance, utility room, washing machine and dryer.

First floor
    Bedroom 1, 160x200 bed, private shower room with WC.
Bedroom 2, 160x200 bed, private bathroom.
Separate WC.
Access to bedroom 3, private bathroom with WC.
Access to bedroom 4, adjoining private bathroom.

On the second floor
    Bedroom 3 under roof, 160x200 bed and 90x200 bed, large velux window.
Bedroom 4 under roof, 180x200 bed or two 90x200 beds, additional 90x200 bed, large velux window.

In the old barn, games room with ping-pong table.

Outdoor wooden terrace 30 m2, outdoor table, armchairs, chairs, deckchair, barbecue, offset parasol.

A private outdoor heated infinity pool of 10m x 5m will be built and commissioned from July 4, 2020.
