About this property

Charming 5/3 home right on the Homosassa River, with a pristine view of the river and the nature preserve across the way. This home is perfect for fishing, scalloping, diving, swimming with manatees in the springs, or just relaxing on the porch and watching wildlife go by. You will often see manatees and dolphin swim right by the dock!

This beautifully furnished home offers 4 bedrooms with king beds and a 5th bedroom with two sets of bunkbeds. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a king bed, en suite bathroom, and private balcony; three other bedrooms with king beds; and a full bathroom with tub. Downstairs there is one bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and a full bathroom with tub.

There is plenty of room to relax or play with a living/dining room containing an eight-person dining table and super-comfortable couch AND a family room containing a couch, bar, ping-pong table, and giant connect-four. The large kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need during your stay.

***We are not a wedding, event, or party venue. We are happy to provide a large space for our guests to spread out and enjoy themselves; however, out of respect for our neighbors, we have a strict no party/event/gathering policy. The house comfortably sleeps 10 people, and no more than that may be on the property at any time.***

***NO DOGS. In an effort to keep the house allergen-free, we are completely pet-free. We love dogs and animals of all kinds, but we do not make exceptions to this rule.***

The boat and boat lift are not available for Guest use and are strictly off-limits. There is plenty of space on the dock to tie up your boats.

Any tampering with or obscuring the security cameras located at the front door, back porch, and dock will result in immediate removal from property.

Absolutely NO parties or events. No one besides the max. 10 overnight guests may be on the property at any time.

Scallop trip

We were there for a scalloping trip. The house has plenty of room to hang out with all the amenities. Dock was big enough to store three boats. The house is close to everything.

Dual Family Scallop tradition

This home was a perfect set up for our two families to have our traditional week long scallop vacation. Wonderful home with plenty of space and in a great location on the river. Jeremy was always available for whatever questions or help we needed which made our stay stress free. We could not have asked for a better host to work with. He went above and beyond. Thanks for sharing your home with us. It was perfect.

We are native Floridians who have always loved the old-Florida feel of Homosassa. We spent years vacationing in Homosassa, reenting different properties on the river, before we found this place.

Why they chose this property

The first time we saw this property, we knew it was meant to be ours. The house is so welcoming and full of character. We love that there is plenty of space for our family enjoy, and the view is beyond compare. We are happy to share the home with renters now, but when the time comes to retire, we plan to move here full time.
