This cabin is located in Wears Valley to enjoy the mountain views from the wrap around porch, with a section of the porch screened in.The living room is a cozy area to sit and relax in front of the fireplace with friends and family along with the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. One queen master bedroom and private master bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Upstairs the cabin has 2 queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom along with laundry room. You will find the game room upstairs with ESPN basketball Hoops and a Air Hockey Table, along with a table for card games and a bunk bed for the young kids to enjoy the game room and snooze at night the bunk bed is twin/full. Eat-in or grill out with the BBQ grill. After dinner, you'll want to sneak back to the screened in decked porch area with your favorite book to enjoy some alone time. When it's dinner time, enjoy local cuisine from southern family style restaurants to chef cooked meals. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before you head back to the property.

It was great experience for our us. Plenty of space inside and outside ,the only thing I would recommend is to add a fire pit and a hot tub it would make it a 5 star.

Mountain vacation

Our only issue was the AC, but management was able to get the AC unit working. There was plenty of room and best of all the cover deck went completely around the cabin, this was very nice for the four year old. Plenty of space in the kitchen living room area. And it was very nice to have TVs in the bed rooms. We plan to stay there again!

Good Spot

Cabin is conveniently located on all paved roads close to pigeon forge, Gatlinburg and the national park. Nice big yard to run around in and plenty of room inside for everyone. We were expecting to have access to a washer and dryer but the laundry room was locked. Other than that everything was great

Fun family getaway

We had a great family weekend renting this cabin. Great location in Pigeon Forge. House is located at the base of the hill providing easy access. There is access to shuttle in town to both Dollywood and Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities for a great family trip. A wonderful family room for relaxing and watching tv or a movie. Large backyard for the kids to run around and play in. We loved the wrap around porch and the kids loved the kids room with the bunk bed, arcade games, basketball game, and air hockey table. We would absolutely rent again.

Peaceful

Our stay at Dogwood Acre was a much needed change of pace for our family of 5. We loved the wrap around covered porch. Our son immediately hung his hammock up on the north/west side and dozed to the sounds of the turkeys,woodpeckers, and wrens. It is a quiet area, with a wooded area directly behind, and the mountain view (not completely open but enough to be pleasant) in front and on the north/west side. The cabin is spacious and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils/cookware/glassware. The dining table and island had room for us and all of our grocery items. The showers have plenty of hot water, and all the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect - close to the west entrance of GSMNP and Cade's Cove, 15 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and around the corner from Wear's Valley. We saw turkeys and a woodchuck, but no bears came to visit. Overall, an excellent home for a week in the Smokey Mountains.

Cabin was great, Location is beautiful. No major problems!

The property is very nice, and the location is great. Plenty of room to move around, we had 6 adults and 3 kids and had no problem. Cabin is well maintained, and everything was nice and clean. The ONLY reason I didnt give 5 stars is that on the main advertisement pic, and on the page, it lists HOT TUB but the property only has a JACCUZI tub. NOT a Hot Tub. The Dogwood Acre pic shows Hot Tub and the text also says it. We expected Hot Tub since it says that. Other than that, everything was great!

Beautiful and peaceful

The property had more than enough room. It also has a pull out sofa in the living room. We didn’t need it but if you want to book and are worried about space the extra space is there. I brought my wind chime along and spent most of my time in a rocker on the porch listening to that while reading a book. The bunk bed in the pictures, to me, looked like it was sort of in an open area. It’s in an actual room with a door. My son took that and completely spread out in the game room. The screened in portion of the porch had two screen doors that locked with a couple tables. It was perfect to let my two toddler granddaughters play in while we played cards. The only negative is the washing machine is broken and they never sent someone to fix it. My daughter had to hand wash the clothes she had tried to wash. The interaction about it was positive so I’m sure it just ended up being an oversight. Just for us, it would have been convenient to have a vacuum since my granddaughters are small and got cracker crumbs on the outside carpet. I picked up what I could but it needs swept. I will definitely come again. It’s one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been and the cabin is beautiful.

Family visit to Dollywood

A Dogwood Delight!

The reservation was very easy, quick and to the point. When we pulled up the the beautiful cabin, we were welcomed with an amazing white dogwood tree. My family was already smiling before we opened our car doors. Once we got to the door, the code allowed access to the cabin without any issues. The cabin was very clean, well maintained and had plenty of room for 11 people. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back! Thank you for such an amazing experience and brining my family together from multiple states!

Very nice cabin. There was 9 of us. 3 generations. This cabin was great.

Everything was positive. Only negative was trash bins are not large enough and the kitchen and bathroom faucets minimize the water pressure. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We had a great time. Thank you for the way you do business and the Christian influence.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back to this cabin. It was easy to get to and all roads were paved which is a plus. The views were amazing and it was quiet. We are hard to please, but we loved it!

My stay

The cabin was perfect and very accommodating. The only issues was they have well water, sulphur water. We had to buy drinking water and after you took a shower the water smelled awful. Loved the porches.

Expectations

I loved the cabin, the pictures online do not do it justice. Only thing that was slight annoying was the lack of trash pick up and the air conditioning wasn’t able to get as cool as we would have liked consistently but not too uncomfortable. I would update the pictures provided online because I was pleasantly surprised by the size and location. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
