Cabin had the perfect set up, but I should have checked into when they let the lake down for the season. Didn't stop us from kayaking since the boat ramp was very close by. Everything you could need was available. Nice place.
This is our 2nd time staying there. We love the cabin, the location, and the new deck and hot tub they added since the last time we were there. We plan on coming every year the week our kids get out of school
We had a very nice stay very clean and comfy.I have back problems and the bed in the master bedroom was wonderful and did not hurt my back. First time ever.
Very clean, peaceful place to stay. My kids loved the upstairs sleeping quarters with the games. Hot tub was a wonderful perk for our fall trip. The fire pit by the water was perfect for s'mores.
We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and location was close to all attractions. We did find out in the second day of our stay that the oven wasn’t working. We as a family rely on cooking most days and we ended up not being able to cook some meals that we had planned. The owner did try to get the oven repaired asap, and even purchased a new stove. Unfortunately it wasn’t able to be replaced during our stay. The owner did buy us pizza on evening, which was appreciated. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Quiet, comfortable stay
Check-in was easy, house was very clean, lots of space, and overall, very quiet and just what we wanted for our get away. While there were other cabins close, we rarely heard them. The amenities were great as well! We had lots of porch space, plenty of seating, a ready to use hot tub, and gas firepit. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the lake due to recent storms, but we still had a great time.
This place is great. It was within 20 to 30 from gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The house had everything you could need from dishes, silverware and basic cookware. The outside was great with the fire pit and outside seating. Easy enough to just walk in the lake and swim. We would definitely stay here again.
This cabin was exactly what my family was looking for in our four day stay. It’s updated where it needs to be and rustic where it should be. The view of the lake was beautiful and there was plenty of things to do on property. We didn’t have time to use it all. Small touches like multi-port charging docks and drink holders next to the Adirondack chairs by the water were a nice touch.
Many memories made and pics taken. Highly recommend.

Great place for relaxing vacation
This house was amazing and a pleasure to stay in. Everything from beginning to end was flawless. The house was clean and had everything you could need including dishes, silverware and basic cookware. The outside was nicely done with outside eating space and lights for the evening to just hang out. The fire pit and chairs down by the lake were great and it’s easy enough to just walk out into the water and swim. The location was very reasonable to be able to get to pigeon forge and gatlinburg within a 20 to 30 minute drive. We would definitely go back to this house again.

Location Paradise
Just returned from a recent stay here and it was great. It is central to all the things in the area. Also close to a grocery store, gas station and Dollar Store! We were a bit disappointed with the low level of the lake. We knew it was going to be low but not quite this low. The inside of the house was good. A bit dated but we enjoyed the cabin feel. Hot tub was great. Fire pit was great. It had all the amenities we needed. We would love to come again when the lake level is up to normal!

ok
The description of the cabin was slightly off, and the amenities were not very nice. The cabin was not well cleaned (beds, bathrooms, living space). The outside area was nice, however.

Relaxing
Our families really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had a relaxing week and many nights around the fire ring next to the lake. There is no dock but we were able to tie off our boat at this property with no problem. The cabin has a great view of the water. The Inside of the cabin was very nice, neat and clean. The kitchen was sufficient however the pots and pans could be updated. The only complaint I have would be the grill. It’s in rough shape. We are the type of people who love to grill dinners nightly.
We booked this house through Evolve and it could not have been easier. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we plan on coming back in the future.
The cabin was nice but needs some work. No darts, foosball table was rickety. The hot tub took a whole day to get warm and burned me and my husband on the arm the one time we got to use it. I guess there's an exposed heating element in one is the seats. The upstairs loft would be better for small children rather than teenagers because of the small beds. The lake was dry. We were hoping to fish while we were there but no luck. Overall the cabin was fine but probably won't rent again

Hi Leigh, we appreciate your feedback, and we are committed to providing an excellent experience for our guests. Here are some insights from the homeowner:-The hot tub is heated solely by the pump, with no heating elements present in the shell where guests sit. The water temperature can reach up to 104°F, and guests have the flexibility to adjust it to their preference. Additionally, the hot tub is relatively new, being only two years old, and there are no exposed elements for safety.-The upstairs beds are standard twin size, as indicated on our website during the booking process. Regarding the missing darts, it's unfortunate that occasionally items are inadvertently removed by guests during their stay in our cabin. Had we been informed, we would have promptly addressed the issue and ensured that darts were replaced, along with checking the foosball table for any other issues.-Lake levels are regulated by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), as clearly stated on our website prior to booking. While lake levels may vary throughout the year, they typically remain at full levels from April to September, providing ample opportunity for enjoyment. Our commitment to providing the best possible experience for all our guests is evident in the satisfaction of numerous others who have stayed with us.

Beautiful but....
This location is amazing, the view is great, the lakefront area was awesome. The amenities listed a kayak and canoe, which was a main reason we decided to book this property, they were locked up and after 3 emails and a text message we never heard from anyone. We ended up purchasing our own, since this was the main reason for this property and didnt want anyone to be disappointed . There were also no cleaning supplies, no mop ,only 2 kitchen towels, we purchased a blender. The loft area didn’t have air conditioning, which was not listed, so I felt super bad for the one person who stayed up there, we promised her a master room at our next vacation to make up for it...I now have kayaks, extra cleaning supplies, and a blender so I guess we had a great vacation! Just know those kayaks and canoes are not an amenity and I still haven’t heard from the guest service person.

Hi Misty, We're glad that you enjoyed the cabin's beautiful location, but we're sorry to hear that the service at the property fell short.
The homeowner is looking for a new local property manager so that guests can receive prompt responses moving forward
We've also made sure that kayaks or canoes are not listed as an amenity for this cabin
Thanks for sharing your feedback, and we hope that you keep us in mind the next time you're in Sevierville!
This beautiful house is at the end of what I call a finger of Douglas Lake. It is quiet and the view is breathtaking. We enjoyed the views from the lakefront, the hot tub deck and the wraparound porch. The house was supplied with everything we needed for our family. Some examples are a kitchen with every appliance and gadget you would need, a very efficient washer/ dryer, board games, puzzles, videos, and floats for the lake. This was the perfect place to spend with our 2 daughters and our 5 grandkids ages 13-3. There was something for everyone to do. We especially enjoyed an evening by the fire pit watching the fireflies. Being from Florida we don’t get to see those. The location is perfect because you have the quiet and serenity of the lake but you are within an easy 30 to 45 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Sevierville also has grocery and fast food places that are at the most 15-20 minutes away. We considered it the best of both worlds. The owners of this property are great. Even before we arrived, they helped with our vacation plans. While there, we needed help with hot tub. I called the owner in the evening and by the next day it was fixed. We hoped to vacation here again. I highly recommend this property.
Spacious cabin with cozy vibes. Peaceful area not far from all the sites to see. We were hoping to fish and did not know this time of year the lake is drained. Looked like the perfect spot in the summer. Wish I knew that before booking though. Still Gorgeous views and loved the wrap around deck.
