Our family had a great stay on the beach

We had a great weeks stay in June. White sand beaches and aquamarine seas were just a few steps away from the back of the property. Plenty of room for the eleven of us. The second floor communal area was a gathering point for some, while others gravitated to the balcony to watch the waves crash on the shore. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine, but note that the first floor guests (6 in our case) all share one bathroom. Being on the beach also means the front of the unit is 25 feet from a busy 2 lane road, right at a 3 way stop. If you are a light sleeper, avoid the front bedrooms. Parking for our two vans was tight but doable. You get one beach umbrella with 2 chairs with your rental, and we contacted the beach service for more with no issues. They were set up promptly every morning and we were out on the beach by 8 each day. The small dipping pool on the first floor was fine for cooling off if you're lying on one of the 2 lounges on that balcony. A small community pool is located across the street but it's a pretty good haul to get there. We didn't bother. All together a nice relaxing vacation for us.

Family Vacation

The house is perfect for multiple families! We slept 6 adults and 4 children comfortably. The location is fantastic and the beach was beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and the linens are nice! There was also a good supply of beach toys and boogie boards on the side of the house! Only a few negatives but none of them would outweigh the positives. I would rent this house again. - Dryer did not get hot enough to dry towels. Bring extra towels if you rent this house. - Pots and pans are sparse and there were no cookie sheets - I don't see how the driveway could fit 3 cars it was so tight with 2 that you could barely open the doors.

Beautiful Condo!

We had a fantastic week with family at Aqua! We loved having three porches to enjoy the beach view and hear the surf. We loved it!

Great location

We had a group of nine adults and had a wonderful time! Many, many steps to navigate though, so definitely keep that in mind. We put our older group in the lower level which is the balcony cold tub level. There is an elevator that is not open to the public. We wish the chairs at the dining table had been smaller and more abundant. Why have a place that holds 12, but only have 6 chairs when 8 would fit easily? We are a game playing family and these homes just don't fill our needs with their seating. No starts taken away for that, as we made it work and had a wonderful time. We loved the cold "hot" tub on the balcony overlooking the Gulf. It was used every day and was a great hang out spot. I had to contact maintenance twice about the microwave. They showed up as quickly as possible and finally on the third day, just brought us a counter top unit to use. This was a vacation cancelled in 2020 due to Covid. Ocean Reef held our first payment for a year and allowed us to use that payment for a home in 2021. Unfortunately, the house I had reserved in 2020 went up in price over $1000 for the exact same week! I'm sorry, but I believe that is price gouging! I ended up having to get a smaller house so I didn't have to raise everyone's cost. Ocean Reef is definitely making up for their 2020 losses in a hurry! Not sure I will use them again..
