Located in the heart of Kiamichi country lies the incomparable splendor of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Beaver’s Bend State Park, the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains, this is the place to lose yourself in hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing. The place to find yourself while surrounded by tall pines, crisp rivers and clean mountain air. The place to make memories that you will draw on for a lifetime.
The Beavers’ Bend / Hochatown area does not have public transportation. There is at this time a private ride share company that will pick up and drop off between most cabins and area attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is currently not any Uber or Lyft options.
All cabins located in the Hochatown area are 5 to 15 minutes from most destinations around the lake and park. This of course depends on traffic. Cabins located further north of Hochatown are an additional 15 to 30 minutes from the Hochatown area. This additional distance should not be impacted by traffic.
The park and lake itself are free to enter, there is however a fee to park.
During peak periods you should plan on a wait at most restaurants.
