Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club #55

This updated and comfortable 1 bedroom loft 2 bath condo has everything you need for a ski or fishing family getaway. This is no longer a pet unit.

The living room has gorgeous views of the woods and the mountains. This comfortable and unique unit has updated qualities such as a tiled entryway, new paint, new living room furniture, granite kitchen counter tops with oak cabinets and recessed lighting. Large windows let in all the sunlight and offer beautiful views. This condo is on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators.

Maximum Occupancy: This condo accommodates up to 6 people.

Bed Arrangement: There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom with it's own flat screen tv. In the second bedroom, which is a loft, there is a queen bed and a bunk beds with 3 twin beds. There is no sofa sleeper in the living room.

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials! For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace! The living room has a flat screen TV

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV!

Views: This condo has an awesome view of the woods and surrounding mountains!

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (approx. ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (approx. 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.
Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Amazing Stay

Amazing Vrbo experience! The unit is a corner unit letting in a ton of natural light and has beautiful views!! It’s close to the office, pool and spa and only 1 mile from the village. Will definitely be coming back!

Comfortable Pet Friendly Unit

Overall nice pet friendly unit. Comfy bed in Master. Beds in loft needed mattress pads. There were just sheets on the mattress. Triple bunks were a novelty, but the 3rd bunk up top is always warmer. Bathtubs were slow draining and we were afraid to use the dishwasher. It didn’t look like it had been used in awhile. We didn’t mind hand washing though. The views from the patio and bedroom were gorgeous! First time experiencing Mammoth in the summer. It is beautiful! It was also nice to be able to bring our dog. We all enjoyed our time here.

Kitchen pots and dishwasher

Although the condo was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen did not have any pots for cooking only frying pans. The dishwasher also did not work.

A perfect stay

This property is super close to the slopes and fit our family of 4 perfectly. Would definitely stay there again. Nice size kitchen and loved the old vhs movies!

Nice property and conveniently located. I would recommend the following though: • Clean furniture- sofas and dinning tables cushions were extremely filthy, to the point that we had to put sheets on top in order to sit. Also, The window in the second room (the one with bunk beds) does not seal properly and cold wind seeps in, specially when windy. Thank you!

Exceeded Expectations!

Wasn't expecting a ton based on reviews of other units in this property, but was pleasantly suprised by this condo! First off, it's listed as a 1 br, but it's really 2 since the loft has a full queen bed and bunk beds. 2nd - The Views!!! It's a corner unit with views of the forest one direction and the gondola/base of the mountain in the other - So nice to enjoy with a cup of coffee!! Location is on a hill just above canyon lodge - The walk down isn't THAT bad, though the driveway can be a bit treacherous if it's covered in ice. Takes 10-15 minutes to get to chair 16. We found a little makeshift stairway someone had made in the snow in the neighboring complex that made it easier to get down to the road. Coming back, you can supposedly use the Ski Back trail, which is just above the complex. The one time we tried this, we ended up getting caught in a massive snow bank trying to get down, and then had to go through another building in the complex. It would be nice if they gave directions on how best to enter the complex from the trail. Overall a great stay for a good price. My biggest complaint--from about 8-9 AM when you are trying to eat your breakfast the sun is BLASTING right in the kitchen where you want to be. It was so uncomfortable that we couldn't be in there. They really need some kind of sun shade to block this.

Ski weekend

Just a comment that this is advertised as a 1 BR but is actually 2! We loved the fireplace/heater! It was very responsive and so warm. It is an older condo but everything we needed and really close to Canyon. Garage parking great but a bit small if you have a larger SUV. Only issue was internet was overloaded by all the people up for the weekend. TV a bit small and quality not great. We were there for the Super Bowl.

I can't wait to come back!

We loved this place! It was very clean and super cozy. This unit has the most incredible views. The kitchen is well stocked but I suggest bringing your own set of knives. The location is amazing. You are close to everything. We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend this place!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was super close to Canyon lodge. Plenty of space for 6 people. If you had to/were allowed to you could definitely squeeze more. I will definitely be using this place as my go to spot when available. A couple things that i always look for when i go up to mammoth, and i go up at least 7-10 times a year:Plenty of Hot water for the group - this place did run out of hot water, but after 6 people showered and 2-girls took their sweet time. But over all i would say the hot water was plenty. Parking: this place only gives you two spots, one in a garage and one outside. You need more parking than that no matter how big or small your group is unless your a single family. The garage barely fit my Tundra, the outside parking is first come first serve and kind of a mess. It goes quick and if you have extra vehicles its a huge pain. They also dont offer extra passes (apart from the 2-you get) not even for purchase.

Ski back trail wasn't an option this year due to the lower snowpack, but that's not their fault.Neither hot tub worked the entire time we were there. Very disappointing. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

Short walk to lifts.

Location was great. Short walk to Canyon Lift and can ride all the way back on the ski back trail. I would recommend this condo to anyone with a family looking for easy access to the slopes.
