Tranquil Relaxing Location. Comfy, Cozy Home with brilliant beautiful, authentic and unique Southwestern Architecture and Styling. Beautiful local artwork throughout. A long driveway sets things peacefully back from and above quiet dead end street.
Incredible Views from the Living Room, Kitchen, Master Bed, Patio, Courtyard or Tub and Shower. Sit or stand above it all, whether with any of the three sets of french doors open, out on the patio or courtyard or through the banks of windows, as you gaze out, watching and enjoying the countless hours of almost daily Idylic Sunsets and the constant full vast 360⁰ panarama of Sky, Distant Mountain Ranges, Mesas and the maze of Canyons below all of which all day long seem to physically change, hours by hour, as they lie bathed in and quilted by the transformative shadows and constantly changing lighting from Massive Clouds Formations and truly mesmerizing Storms Fronts. As an added bonus, you can get some nice easy exercise and soak it all in on a Short Walk to the vast rolling hills and arroyos that lie right out the front door just below the property.

BOOKING MADE NEAR CHECK-IN DATE
Prices are significantly discounted for travelers booking less than two weeks out. To make this work, it is asked that guests booking for only one or two nights be willing to leave the kitchen area and the floors/rugs more or less as they found them when they checked in while enjoying the rest of the home as they normally would. If would you prefer a standard arrangement, I would ask that you leave the keeper an extra $20 to perform a full normal cleaning.
THE HOUSE
There Are two bedrooms plus a bright sitting room with french doors and a very comfortable double futon mattress in the closet that can be placed on the floor plus a large firm couch also comfortable for sleeping. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, one with a thick firm memory foam mattress, the other a thick firm foam core futon that most guests seem to prefer. If you would like to interchange the mattresses according to your preference, please restore as you found them. There are two bathrooms. The master bedroom has it's own separate entrance and a spacious bathroom with large windows and a stunning mesa view.
In the hopes of making sure you have an absolutely fantastic stay at my place and avoid any kind of misperception, l just wanted to make sure you are aware of the fallowing: If you are ideally looking for a, shall we say, fancy or high end type of accommodation, this may not be the right stay for you. If, however, you are very comfortable in very beautiful, very clean, but "normal" home in an amazing peaceful setting with a 24/7 stunning view, you have come to the right place.

HIKES AND WALKS
For a nice convenient walking trail starting from my house, go down to the end of my driveway, continue straight across the road and go down that little dirt road to where it ends at a Wagon wheel where a little trail begins. You will soon come to an elevated wire fence crossing over the sandy wash you will be on. Go under it then immediately right to fallow a trail to countless acres of "Open Space" and ways on or off trail to get up on top of the nearby hills and ridge that you see when you are looking out from my front court yard.or just continue straight down the wash after easily ducking under the wire. After a few hundred yards you will come out onto a quiet neighborhood paved road that's nice for walking, with very little traffic. Another 1/4 mile will take you to a pump house shed and another main trail head that offers another way to get up on to the little ridge with great views.
-For longer (or shorter, as you like) hikes in the foothills of the Sandia mountains, go to Tunnel Springs Rd (just past the fire station on the opposite side of the road). Its a usually good dirt road which dead ends after a mile where you will find two trail heads, both absolutely amazing, one is mostly on the western slope facing the Sunset and the Jemez and Sangre de Christo and Mount Taylor ranges, the other goes up a big partly wooded gorge. Trailheads only 15 minutes or so from my house.
FIREPLACE POLICY
If you would like to enjoy the fireplace, my insurance agent requires that you EMAIL ME at (provided after booking) to acknowledge that you will fully extinguished the fire before going to bed or leaving the property and that the screen will be kept closed at all times while the fire is burning except of course when starting the fire or maintaining the fire. There should be kindling in the large basket or special wood/axe in the garage to make kindling and please use any available small split wood just for starting the fire.
