Welcome to The Dream Getaway.

Welcome to our oceanfront/beachfront home located at 1834A S Shore Dr, Surf City, NC 28445.

This newest edition is a three story single family oceanfront private escape. The views are SPECTACULAR. We offer 3 levels of private oceanfront decking, two outdoor showers and an oceanfront outdoor entertaining area with a charcoal grill and also includes a new 6.75’ x 6.75’ Nordic Hot Tub that seats 7.

Our location is IDEAL in Surf City on Topsail Island. We are on a quiet stretch of the beach surrounded by other homes but are still only 2 miles south of the pier and all of the shops and restaurants.

We have installed new LVP flooring ( No CARPET in this HOME) and purchased new smart TVs - one for every bedroom and one in the living room.

The home interior has been freshly painted and has new decor, new linens, new mattresses, new furniture, new sheets and towels and completely refreshed amenities.
The oceanfront balcony offers captains chairs so you can see over the railings for unobstructed ocean views.

The driveway can accommodate at least 5 cars.

We provide 10 brand new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys.
We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and pantry items, keurig and K-cups,hand soap, hair dryer in every bathroom / shampoo/conditioner, body wash and toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.

We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case by case basis and a $100 refundable pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the beds. We are sorry but we do not allow cats.

Two comfortable portable beds with memory mattresses are available to sleep two extra people. We have determined these are much more comfortable and more flexible than a sleeper sofa as they can be used in any room in the home - even outside for the adventurous type.

We do not offer discounts of any kind. We offer an extremely high level of service, flexibility and a ton of amenities not found in most beach rentals.
If you have a specific request, we will do what we can to accommodate you.

This house was beautiful, clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. The views are fantastic. We appreciated the oscillating fans in the closets of each bedroom, the large dining table which we used mostly to play games, and the new looking washer & dryer. Both the upper and middle level deck had gates for kid/dog safety.

This beach home right on the ocean calms the soul. Relaxing on the beach or waking up to coffee and sunrises every morning, you will love the peace and serenity it offers. The host thought of everything to make one feel comfy and cozy. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, games and an incredibly stocked kitchen! The WiFi was great as 3 adults worked remotely without issues. The hot tub and grill are added perks! We highly recommend you book your next beach vacation here!

The home was beautiful! It was clean and well taken care of. Communication with the host and onsite manager was friendly and prompt. We met some lovely neighbors during our stay. The house is just steps to the ocean which was amazing and perfect for our little family with 2 young children. We would recommend and return!

It is such a beautiful place and perfect for our dogs with a great outside shower and many towels available. We will for sure come back and Katrina was a great host. I absolutely recommend this property. The view is breathtaking and the morning walks at sunrise unforgettable

The house was just as advertised, very clean well maintained, it had an amazing view of the beach, with great beach access.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed when we wanted to cook.The bedrooms are nice and large, and the beds were very comfortable.We had a great week !!

Great location! Loved the beach gear - umbrellas, chairs, towels, and boogie boards. The products in the bathrooms were the DG kind and hard to find in a couple of bathrooms - you might bring your own soap and lotion. Because the house is right on the beach, sand blows over the walkover nightly. We sprayed off the walkover daily to clear sand. It is hard to keep it out of the house. More rugs and a vacuum would help - maybe we just couldn’t find it.

We hope you still enjoyed your beach vacation despite the sand. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash is in every bathroom under the sinks in a nice little basket we even have everything in the outdoor shower. Rugs are at every doorway leading to the outside. Vacuum and broom is in the closet. The house is directly on the beach and at night there can be wind which puts sand on the decks and walkway. Nothing I can do about keeping the sand away at a beach house. Still hope you enjoyed your stay with us.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house and would absolutely recommend it! The location couldn’t have been better with immediate beach access, making it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day. We especially loved being able to run into the kitchen from the beach without any hassle.The house was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas, which made spending long days by the water comfortable and relaxing. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower after the beach and the hot tub in the evenings. Inside, there were plenty of towels, and the home was spacious enough for our whole family to spread out and relax.We did have an issue with the dishwasher, but the property manager responded immediately. A brand-new dishwasher was installed by lunchtime the same day, which was incredibly impressive and much appreciated.Overall, this was a fantastic place for a family beach vacation. We made wonderful memories here and would happily stay again!

Great beach front home for a family or multiple families. Plenty of space, great porch to enjoy the view, and the teens really enjoyed the hot tub! They are pet friendly which is super nice, however, the home definitely needs to be cleaned better between guests. A black dog definitely was in the home prior to us and the hair was everywhere. The floors needed a good washing, there were drink drips and dirt marks on the floor. Bedding was great and the living room was cozy. I love they offer tons of family games! Definitely would rent again for a staycation or recommend to out of town guests!

This was our second year staying in this house, because we loved it so much last time. This year was even better. We spent an entire week here enjoying the beautiful views from the living room and the decks. The house has everything ne needed, including a very well equipped kitchen, bathroom supplies, and even spices and coffee pods as well as a drip coffee maker. A big bonus for us is that dogs are welcome in this home, which made our beach vacation even more enjoyable. The host and the housekeeper are very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property.

The things that stood out- the house was very clean, organized, well stocked with everything like towels, utensils, laundry soap, toilet paper, and not the cheap toilet paper very good toilet paper. Our DREAM was to own oceanfront property! We are so pleased to be able to share the DREAM with you!

In September of 2018 my husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a long weekend getaway to Surf City. We have 2 dogs and one had just completed his last rounds of chemo treatments so we were only willing to go somewhere that we could take our dogs with us. We had not been on vacation in 6 years because of our dogs special needs.
After spending 4 days on the beach we decided we needed a beach house. Both my husband and dog were at home and relaxed at the beach. 2 Months later we purchased Dream Getaway.

Why they chose this property

Why Surf City NC when we live in Maryland?
Surf City is the beach of my childhood. I spent my summers visiting my family in Hampstead NC (10 minutes away) and my days were spent playing on the beach under the pier with my siblings and cousins.
My Great Grandfather ran shrimp and oyster boats in the sound for a living. If you visit our home you will notice the oyster shells and pictures around the house. These all remind me of why we own this home.

We love this SPACIOUS single family oceanfront home! This part of the beach is so peaceful and the views are out of this world. The oceanfront hot tub is truly a dream come true!

What makes this property unique

We provided linens, towels, beach chairs and a fully stocked kitchen and pantry.
In addition to our home which is enough we also provide the ability to provide additional services via our Hospitality Manager, who is a text message away.
