Luquillo 30 miles east of Luis Munoz Marin Intl. Airport, home of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Playa Azul complex has swiming pool, basketball, tennis and handball courts, pin pong table, library and play ground for kids (actually under renovation). Playa Azul beach in front of the complex.

Nearby find greats restaurants, and beach activites rentals (snorkel, scuba, sailing, surfing, fishing, kayaking, dinggie tours, boat tours. Visit the flourescent bay is 10miles east at Fajardo, or take a ferry at Ceiba, to Vieques or Culebra. Additional activities near Luquillo, PGA Golf Course, horseback riding, canopy tours, hikking tours, casinos, Belts Outlets. El Yunque Rainforest is only 12 minutes away, there you will have the opportunity to appreciate the view, waterfalls, and the rainforest.

Great place to stay!

Me and my three teenage kids stayed here for 7 day and had a great time. It was better than staying at a hotel or resort because it had all the amenities of home. The beach was a 2 minute walk through a fantastic court yard (activity area) and was beautiful and not over crowded. The neighborhood and the surrounding areas were fantastic. Overall 10 out 10 would definitely stay here again.

What a gem….

Easy 40 minute drive from the airport and in such a coveted location. We loved our stay here. The apartment was exactly as described. Nice and secure with simple checkin process.Private beach access was a blessing. The waves were insane during our stay but portions of the bay are protected by coral reefs.10 minutes to the rain forest access road and snorkeling/diving trips just 20 minutes away.The locals were awesome and we can’t wait to head back later this year. Amazing food options within walking distance. Carbstill recomended.

Perfect location

This is the perfect location nestled between the beach and rainforest. People are so friendly around here. The building security is great and the grounds are clean and well kept. Washer and dryer are a huge plus. I would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome getaway in Luquillo, PR

Beautiful property, very secure and well maintained, the security staff and residents are amazing, I felt so cared for, they went above and beyond in making me feel welcomed like family. My only issue was I did not have a car, had to uber around or walk to get food, need more restaurants closer to where I was staying

The unit was clean, comfortable, and adequately supplied with all of the basic essentials. The 5th floor balcony had a decent view of the ocean and the mountains! A plus was having beach chairs with a 5min walk to the beach. Mariel was an excellent host and provided prompt help when the unit lost internet connection. and a washerschairs

Honeymoon Getaway

A great find!

We very much enjoyed our stay! It is a very short walk to the beach and a five minute drive to an area with a very large selection of excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Puerto Rico.

Big condo complex on the beach

The listing accurately describes this condo located in a large, 3-building, safe-feeling complex right on the beach. The complex itself was a bit restrictive, for example, the pool closed at 7pm, and we couldn't go swimming later in the evening. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to Luquillo, and about 30 minutes the other way to the Luquillo kiosks. The condo was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a nice balcony overlooking the complex grounds and the sea off to the north. The host was responsive to our messages and had some good restaurant recommendations. We're giving only 4 stars primarily because the washer wasn't working; we didn't realize this until loading the machine and putting soap in. We notified the host; she knew about the washer not working, and we felt there should have been an "out of order" sign on it or other means of notification before we committed to doing laundry. All in all, a very good stay.

Great location, great beach

We have stayed in these Condo buildings twice before and our first time in this unit. I love the location and the beaches. Walgreens and Amigo, grocery store right across the street. The Kioskos are just a 20 minute walk down the street. 15 minutes to the cute town of Palmer and the road to El Yunque. The beach right across the street has a mix of surf easily within a quick walk.

Amazing location

It is a terrific location -- the pool area is beautiful, direct access to the beach, walking distance to several places to eat, longer walk or short drive to Luqillo Beach and the kiosks as well as a lovely downtown area with lots of restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but not updated. The internet was down when we were there, but the manager gave us a discount on one of the nights since they couldn't fix it in time.

Great time in Puerto Rico

This property was ideally located, really close to El Yunque, a reasonable distance for frequent trips to San Juan, close to the airport, and with a great uncrowded beach a very short stroll from your room. There are conveniences (supermarket,fast food, pizzeria, bank ) within walking distance. Restaurants are a longer walk up the beach. The beach itself is beautiful. The property also has a nice pool. We had a great time. Try a great little restaurant for breakfast or lunch called “Simple Food”

Great for a couple

Decent views of the beach and mountain. The condo is required with most of what you will need.... towels included. The bathroom has a vent which was allowing the smell of cigarette smoke in at times (no extractor fan). Security is good. Great place to stay. The washer and dryer were fantastic to have.

Overall nice property, construction going on so don't plan to sleep in. Internet went out midway through visit. Contacted all 3 numbers left and received no response. Last day it rained heavily and leaked water through windows.

Perfect getaway.

I can’t say enough about this property. We had been racing around staying in a different place every night. The prior night we were in Vieques, and our rental left a lot to be desired. I was ready to relax for a while. I walked in the door and knew this was the place. I didn’t want to leave!! But the location was perfect for luquillo beach and el yunque. And the pool is wonderful. If I ever return, I’ll look for this same place. Kitchen was well stocked.

As described

Condo facility is older, but clean, safe, and in a convenient location for access to attractions in the north and east parts of the island. Quiet, great for relaxing stay with family - walled compound has pool and playground amenities and easy beach access. Nice to have cooler and chairs available. Minor issues: the plastic cover on the shower knob was broken though the shower still worked ok. Note that there is a stove top and microwave but no oven, so don’t buy frozen pizzas like me :).
