Wonderful little place
We stayed at the annex for two weeks whilst waiting for our new home to be ready. It was just what was needed, the owner was very helpful and friendly and the house was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. The little garden was much appreciated and enjoyed by our two dogs.

Lovely getaway in a beautiful location!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Kington Langley! The annexe is lovely, clean and spacious and the garden is absolutely beautiful. The annexe is situated next to a bridle path and field, so is perfect for walks, and lovely to see so many dogs passing by and stopping for a drink of water. Peter was an exceptional host. I was meant to be driving but had to catch the train to Chippenham in the end. Peter not only collected me from the station on my arrival, but very generously gave me lifts to/from the station when I needed to get to different places. It made my visit so much easier, and cheaper too, as taxi fares would have added up. I really can't recommend this accommodation highly enough! Although I was on my own, I was meant to be bringing my cat, and it would have been perfect for her. It is ideal for dogs too, especially as the garden is secure. And with beautiful dog walks right on your doorstep too! I loved my stay so much that I would consider returning in the future, hopefully with my car next time!

Doggie friendly haven in the Cotswolds
Peter was the most welcoming host and his property, which was half of his house, was lovely…. comfortable, well kitted out and located in a lovely spot, ideal for visiting places of interest and for dog-walking. He introduced us to the nearest pubs, and looked after Molly, our Retriever, on our last night out. I thoroughly recommend this cottage in Kington Langley.

Dog heaven
I wanted to get away. Just the two labs and me. House was perfect. So well equipped. Generous in stuff like washing powder. Coffee. Sugar. Really set up for dogs. No carpet just good solid furniture and washing machine tumble dryer and lots of dog towels. Dishwasher too! Things I had forgotten. Huge bathroom. Lovely shower. Bed was comfy (too often the beds are awful). I can’t say enough about the location. First off the whole area was pretty. Picturesque. Lots of famous hills and villages. Do some research and visit them. For me though was the fact the cottage was at the end of the road and 20 feet away from farmland which all the dog walkers used. Well trodden paths so you couldn’t go wrong. Turn right out of the cottage and (again) a mere 20 ft away was the byway. I walked every day for up to 40 minutes without meeting anyone. It skirts the farmland. Warnings about lambing but the fields were empty. No cows. No cars. I loved the peacefulness of it all. Just wonderful. Lastly - what to say about Peter? My dogs loved him at 1st sight (ok they’re labs and love everyone!!) and he was great with them. He even offered to look after them for me and he meant it! Nothing was too much trouble. All in all it was the break I needed. I will definitely be going back! Highly recommended for dogs and hikers.

Why they chose this property

On the edge of the picturesque village of Kington Langley, the road stops at the cottage and there is a track that winds through the fields. The only traffic passing the cottage are walkers, dogs and horses.
