The living areas in this single-storey annexe has a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, and a living/dining room with a TV and dining table. There is one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside, there is a private garden with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles, there is a shop and pub, and please note that pets and smoking are not permitted. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. This annexe is located at the back of the owner's property. There is an unfenced pond on the grounds, please take care. Straw Cottage is a romantic base for two to explore Wiltshire.

There's also the North Meadow National Nature Reserve, which has the UK's largest population of wild Snakeshead Fritillaries, and Blakehill Nature Reserve, which has 600 acres of grassland for wildlife enthusiasts. Within a few miles of town is the Swindon and Cricklade Railway, a heritage standard gauge railway run by volunteers. Cirencester, the Cotswolds' capital, is only a short drive away. Cirencester has a good mix of independent and national shops, pubs, and restaurants. Swindon, formerly part of the Great Western Railway Works, has historical sites and an outlet mall. Cricklade is a great base for history buffs, wildlife enthusiasts, walkers, and many other recreational activities for all ages.
